The software has been very simple to use. It's made my life easier in regards to notetaking and transcriptions have been very helpful. I had an issue where I deleted a recording by accident and the Support was reasonably quick.

I recently made an accidental upgrade to the Otter Business plan during a stressful time when my Visa card had been misused. The full yearly amount was already taken from my bank, so I was very worried.

Otter’s support team responded clearly and kindly, canceled the Business plan, and refunded the mistaken payment, even though the transaction had already gone through. They also helped me cancel my Pro plan and reassured me that any remaining value can be reactivated if I decide to sign up again in the future.

Overall, it was much easier than I expected to resolve the mistake and get my money back. I feel safe knowing that if I come back to Otter later, my account and remaining value can be reactivated without trouble.

Overall, I had a positive experience with Otter AI. The real-time transcription feature is very impressive, and the transcription accuracy is excellent, which saved me a lot of time when working with interview recordings for my research. The interface is easy to use, and exporting transcripts is convenient.
The only downside is the pricing. The introductory offer is very attractive, but after that the monthly subscription feels quite expensive. I also forgot to cancel my subscription, so I was charged for several months without realising it.
I really appreciate the customer support team. They responded very quickly, handled my request professionally, and kindly offered a refund as a goodwill gesture. That left me with a very positive impression of the company.

I am very grateful that despite having a policy of no refunds, I was given one in a time of need. Got me out of a big pickle and I’m very thankful for it!

Otter.ai is a useful tool when you need it for transcribing meetings or interviews. You can also search through the transcriptions to locate discussions on particular topics. Prompt and helpful Customer Service staff.

I was billed for an old account of which I was unaware. I reached out to the Otter.AI support team and they were able to quickly help me resolve the issue, cancel the old account and were even kind enough to refund the payment even though their TOS do not require they do so. I am very grateful for their help and understanding! They truly care about customer support and satisfaction.

Uploads have stopped working. I've been paying an expensive subscription for two years and the service has been ok, but for some reason I can no longer upload audio files for transcription.

Customer service/help is non-existent. Filed a ticket and no reply.

Will be cancelling and telling everyone how awful Otter is.

As a novice with using notetaking systems, I encountered a related set of problems during my set-up that resulted in the loss of some meeting sessions and some unintended, accidental recordings that chewed up my available transcription minutes. I filed a support ticket to help me navigate process and procedures with Otter Pro. To my surprise, Luis Juarez ( who answered my support ticket) was responsive within minutes, guided me through what his team saw as the issue, and helped me with a solution that made sense! Always generous with his time in dealing with what was something simple to him, but was a business lifesaver to me. Honestly, this high level of service should be the benchmark for others supplying services to us out here in the deep waters of business. Thank you Luis and Otter Pro!

I signed up for an annual subscription for the pro version before realizing that it wasn’t going to work for my oddly specific needs. Even though I had subscribed for the year, they graciously refunded my purchase as my realization was quick, and I really couldn’t use the service for the way I intended to. Incredibly good customer service. They didn’t have to give me a refund, but they did.
