The chair is awesome. solid, well built and compact. Their customer service is terrible though. Also they will spam you with emails for months. There is some kind of communication problem with the customer service reps, I can only guess they are not good with English. I love the chair, though.

This is the best camping chair I’ve ever had, bar none! Really compact to carry, easy to assemble, and super-comfortable.

We bought 2 chairs and I do not understand the good reviews? The chair is good quality, but a very low back which is uncomfortable, they were also heavier than expected, so we asked for a return. The response was a suggestion we gift the chairs to friends! I replied that this was not an option and eventually got a reply asking for photos or video of the chairs to prove they are in the same condition as they were when they left the warehouse. Reading the 'small print' it looks like we will be charged for the return. I wish I had now purchased through a well known online shop where returns are easy and you don't have lots of hoops to jump through. Not impressed at all. I would steer clear of this company. Since writing this I have been told I can return them - to Australia!! £46 postage. Speechless!

Really happy with my chair. It’s really light, not bulky, easy to carry, easy to set up, easy to dismantle and pack away, really comfortable, really sturdy, feels like it will last a lifetime.

Great delivery and point of sale experience; no doubts or worries. The chairs are terrific. They are a little stiff at the first time erecting but otherwise work exactly as presented. This chair will get used camping, a the beach and to put ski boots on in the winter…I’ll probably just leave it in the trunk for whatever comes my way!

Ordered the Adventure Bundle - Small chair and larger lounger. Really pleased with both, lightweight and portable and very sturdy. Have used them both at festivals and have been asked by others about where I got them from and what did I think. Very happy to recommend both. A definite case of you get what you pay for.

The advertising campaign definitely deserves five stars. Ozzi Gear is marketed very strongly as an Australian brand, but my own order took 33 days to arrive.

I placed my order on 10 June. Despite the stated delivery time of 7–12 days, it was not marked as shipped until 29 June and was finally delivered on 13 July. The original tracking number was provided by YunExpress, a Chinese logistics company. This makes me suspect that the chair was shipped directly from China, although I cannot confirm whether it was actually dropshipped.

When it finally arrived, my first impression was honestly positive. The chair looked like a quality product, it was compact and easy to set up, exactly as advertised. I also found the seating comfort perfectly acceptable.

Unfortunately, after only three days of actual use, the stitching around one of the legs completely tore away, making the chair unusable. For a chair at this price, that is extremely disappointing.

I have now contacted Ozzi Gear and hope that, despite the negative warranty and customer-service experiences mentioned in some reviews here, they will honour their advertised lifetime warranty and resolve the problem properly. I will update this review depending on how they respond.

For now, however, I can only give one star because of the premium price, the 33-day wait and, most importantly, the product failing after just three days of use.

Update: I have now received what appears to be an AI-generated response through Richpanel, offering to send me a replacement part — unfortunately for a completely different chair.

This is definitely something Ozzi Gear could improve in their AI setup: check the customer’s original order before proposing a solution, rather than hallucinating which product they actually bought.

I have replied explaining that the proposed replacement is not for my chair and am now waiting to see how they resolve it.

I will update this review again once I receive their response.

Final update: After initially receiving a few fairly useless AI-generated customer-service responses, Ozzi Gear did eventually resolve the issue properly and sent me a completely new chair.

So credit where credit is due: they honoured the warranty, and I appreciate that. The replacement was again shipped from China, which does reinforce my earlier impression about how the operation behind the strongly Australian branding is actually set up.

That said, I also have to give Ozzi Gear some credit for what they have built from a marketing perspective. They are a good example of how far strong branding, clever online marketing and AI-driven customer service can take an e-commerce business. I genuinely respect that part of it.

The customer-service AI could definitely use some improvement — especially after first offering me replacement parts for a chair I never bought — but ultimately the warranty did what it was supposed to do.

My original chair failed after only three days, so I still cannot rate the overall experience particularly highly. However, because Ozzi Gear ultimately honoured the lifetime warranty and sent a full replacement, I have increased my rating from one to two stars.

I will now see how the replacement holds up.

Fantastic outdoor Chair I have bought a second one well packaged came quickly 👍

We looked high and low for a quality beach/ outdoor chair that was actually worth the money, compact and light to carry.

These outdoor chairs are quality made hence quite sturdy. So easy to take anywhere.

We literally take them with us everywhere now. In the ute when we go inland or on the boat when heading out on the water. Lucky us.

I really wanted to like this chair. (For the price, I expected to love it.) But my experience has been straight up horrible.

First, the chair itself. Maybe some people find this thing comfortable. Possibly tiny people. Children, oompa loompas, etc. I have nothing against tiny people, but I am not one of them. The marketing says this chair is comfortable for everyone, even large and tall people. This is bollocks.

The front legs of the chair dig into my lower thighs like crazy. The back legs of the chair dig into my rib cage. If I sat in this thing long enough, I'd bruise like someone was disciplining me with a riding crop--and not in a good way.

Next, the return process. This is where the real frustration sets in. Borderline rage, actually. It took me six emails (SIX emails) just to get the return address from customer support. First, they wanted my reason for the exchange. Then, they wanted to tell me how great the product was and maybe I should just gift it to somebody. Next, they wanted me to SEND THEM A PICTURE of the product (which I had already repackaged), as they needed to determine that it had NEVER BEEN USED OUTSIDE. (It hadn't--but note, this is marketed as an OUTDOOR chair. Shade factor to the max.) Finally, they sent me the shipping address.

I took my package to Canada Post, and was quoted $87 for untracked shipping. This is absurd. I asked Ozzi Gear for prepaid shipping, and they told me to go pound sand. (Note: when I bought this chair, there was nothing on the website about "you pay for returns." There is now--something along the lines of "you pay for return shipping to our warehouse in Australia." I ran the address through google maps, and apparently the warehouse in Australia is some dude's house, next to another dude's house with a pool. Nice solar panels.)

TLDR: The chair is unusable. The return process is unethical and misleading. AVOID.

I had an issue with a chair that I had ordered from Ossie Gear. I found it very easy to contact the company and explain the problem. Within a few hours I received a sincere apology and an amazing solution. I'm very impressed with the high standard of customer service.

Im always nervous about ordering online, not being able to examine the product first. However with this high standard of customer service I would not hesitate to order another product from Ossie Gear. .....And besides the chair is awesome, in both form and function!... and so comfortable!

I have had my Ozzigear chair for about 4 weeks and I have already taken it camping and on day trips. It’s light, portable and comfortable. You are only 7 clicks away from comfort.

Ozzie chair does exactly what it says on the box. Easy to put up, after the first time when it is a bit stiff but that IS ONLY the first time and a really comfortable seat. Useful pocket on the side for cover and drink. Very light weight and easy to carry

The Ozzi Gear Lounge Chair is so easy to setup and store away compare to my former chair. The legs are made of sturdy metal. It feels very solid and it is very comfortable. I highly recommend the Ozzi Chair for their quality and easy to setup steps in a few seconds.

Ozzi Chairs, simply the best!
Over the last 50 years of marriage, we have had twenty folding chairs in the back of the car and travelled throughout England and Europe, camping, concerts and events and it was always a hassle with them being too heavy, big, difficult to stow away and just uncomfortable!
Recently purchased two Ozzie chairs, I thought they were expensive, but my wife convinced me!
At 5:30am, we just rode ten miles on our bicycles to the International Bristol Balloon Fiesta along with 250,000 others over the weekend with the chairs on our backs! On arrival time to stop for a ‘Bacon butty’ chairs up in a jiffy enjoying the meal, then back in the bags. Off to the main arena, chairs out in seconds with people around asking us about the chairs and were amazed how easy to put up and light they were!
After the main balloon inflation event with well over 150 balloons chairs packed away, we were off for our lunch, and it was so easy and quick to get the chairs back out on the spot to eat with no fuss. Afterwards chairs packed away as easy as you like, then on our bikes back home!
A fantastic day for the memory banks made memorable by our ‘Ozzie chairs’ ease of moving around, so light and easy to put up and down that changed our ideas about festival life!

The chair arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and when I received it I set it up quickly and it worked perfectly. Given it's size when folded down, it's idea for camping on 2 wheels and super comfortable. Great product.

The new outdoor lounger is so comfortable, yet so small, compact and easy to take with you - whether it’s the beach, a festival or just a hike where you fancy a sit down to take in the views along the way. It feels like a well constructed item that is built to last and I highly recommend it.
