Excellent Service

Called into this store on Sunday re issue with phone that had overheated. Young lady at counter took such a long time going thru all the possible scenarios re phone and then spoke to a tech guy. He examined the phone and explained again what the issues might be. He asked me to come back in 30 minutes. At this stage he told me that the news was bad, battery and software damaged, he could try to repair but no guarantee and phone was old etc. He didn’t charge me the €30 fee I had agreed to pay. I was so appreciative of their help and advice, both of them went above and beyond in order to help me. Many thanks for your absolute professionalism, I really appreciate it, just so sorry I didn’t get your names guys.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this place.

I went in to get the back of my phone replaced—something that should be a simple, routine repair. I was told it would be done by the end of the day, but when I came back, the technician hadn’t even started. No apology, no explanation, just complete disregard for my time.

They also took a €25 deposit and then had the audacity to say it was non-refundable—even though they hadn’t done a single thing to my phone. That’s not just bad service, it’s completely unacceptable.

To make things worse, this isn’t a one-off issue. I’ve been turned away twice in the past few weeks with excuses that it would take hours just to replace a phone back. On another occasion, when attempting to repair a phone screen, a technician actually cut a wire during the process—raising serious concerns about their competence and care.

Overall, this place is disorganised, unprofessional, and clearly not trustworthy when it comes to even basic repairs. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—go somewhere else.

Struggled to give even one star.

Struggled to give even one star. Left in iPhone Pro 12 to replace battery in Blanchardstown - they damaged phone and screen display when inserting the battery, returned to them same day- they claimed screen was in need of repair (it was perfect and had absolutely no issues before they tried to insert new battery!).. but they replaced the screen under warranty - on hour journey home phone started to heat up on use - googled issue - it stated it was battery problem .. might take a few weeks for new battery to settle - I kept using it for a few weeks to see if it would settle but it kept over heating on use and charge. Eventually returned to them again- they tried to say there was water in phone and they dried it up and it was now working / charging fine without heating up (the phone was never near water so this could not be true !) - anyhow within five minutes of use it was still heating up again - I returned again and this time they tried to say the case magnet was an issue - it hadn’t been an issue for the last four -five years ! I don’t even believe they tried to check the battery properly. Very shoddy work and service. Would not recommend Pair to anyone ! I left with my over heating phone and will not darken their door again ! Avoid at all costs !!

faulty item not covered

Purchased EarPods for €60.00 in October 2025, one stopped working in March 2026, returned the item with receipt to be told there is only a 2 month warranty and an email address was given to me to contact company in China to get a replacement even though there is a fault! Wouldn’t purchase anything again from here with this type of customer service. Seems ridiculous in this day and age that the wouldn’t just swap out the product for there be an end to it. Warranty for 2 months….BS!!

No exchange for faulty item

I bought a phone case from pair, however, an hour later, the case started popping out at the volume and power buttons, and the case was no longer fully protecting my phone. I brought it back to the shop the next day, with my proof of purchase, but they refused to do an exchange for my faulty item and insisted that the case was not bought yesterday as ‘this does not happen’ to these cases after only one day, according to the worker (despite having a receipt to prove it was bought the day before). The staff were very unhelpful and rude, with no consideration for their customers. I had no choice but to leave with my faulty phone case.

Difficulty with online reservation

Booked a battery replacement online for my son's iPhone, paid for it and followed the directions to go to the store with a copy of the email.

Got to the shop and told the salesperson i had booked a battery replacement for iphone XR online and showed him the email on my phone. He read the email a few times then started to take my phone (samsung) and try remove the cover. I told him that wasn't an iPhone and my son gave him the iPhone and he started the booking process, somehow ignoring that i already had done it online. It was like he didn't know anything about the online bit.

He then asked why we were changing the battery, not sure why that was relevant, and that it would be €45, even though he had just read the email that showed i already paid.

Eventually another salesperson came over and within a few seconds had the online bit sorted and he started booking the repair on their system. He handed the iPhone back to my son and said please enter the security code, which he did, to then say he wanted it entered on the tablet on the desk, that seemed to fixed to the table. Not sure why he handed him the phone if he wanted the code on the tablet, but anyway, my son told him the code and he then asked for the SIM PIN to which my son asked "Why do you need the SIM PIN for a battery repair" which he replied "to check settings" but my son asked again, why do you need pin to check settings, but i don't think he liked being asked questions like that, this will be covered later.

He may have been new to the job, which is understandable, and that part of the engagement was not the reason for the lost stars, it was the experience when we went back to collect the phone was the clincher.

When we went back to collect the phone he completed ghosted us, gagged they phone over and didn't say a word except for answering a question on how long was the warranty. Maybe he didn't like the challenges when booking the phone in, which were fair challenges in my mind, but i didn't see any reason for the unprofessional lack of communication when collecting the phone.

Battery replacement itself seems to be fine (only reason it's not 1 star) and i used the PA1R shop in Liffey Valley a good few times before it closed but will be really slow returning to this shop on the off chance the service is repeated. Other people in the shop with the other salesperson didn't have an issue so we must've been unlucky on the day.

Finally to summarise... Make sure when you hand in the phone following an online booking that you have it completely clear that you already paid, in case they don't see it on the email, and best accept the questions rather than challenging if they don't make sense otherwise they may not engage in any way when you collect it... Or just forget they online bit and do it in the shop

I visited your shop on 7 November 2025…

I visited your shop on 7 November 2025 inside the crescent after locking myself out of my phone. While being assisted by a young man who seemed unsure how to resolve the issue and consulted an older colleague for guidance, I was advised by the young man that purchasing a new phone might be the best option. However, a young woman who appeared to be on her break as she was walking in with her belongings overheard our conversation and kindly stepped in to help.
She immediately understood my situation, clearly explained what was happening, and pointed out that purchasing a new phone would not solve the problem, as I would not be able to transfer my data without my passcode something I had already mentioned earlier. She then patiently talked me through the correct steps to take.
I am extremely grateful to her for taking the time to assist me, even while on her break, and for putting my needs ahead of making a sale. Her professionalism, honesty, and initiative truly stood out. I hope her excellent service is recognized, as she represents your shop exceptionally well.
I’ll be returning later this week to follow her recommendations.

Unhelpful staff for faulty product.

They were beyond rude, unaccommodating, and unhelpful even after over 30 mins of trying to trouble shoot and having issues of their own with the product.

Excellent service

Excellent service! My iPhone wasn’t charging, so I took it to this repair shop. The technician quickly identified the problem and fixed it within 10 minutes. To my surprise, he didn’t even charge me for the repair. Really honest and professional service — highly recommended!

Brought my Iphone 14 pro max in to get…

Brought my Iphone 14 pro max in to get a new charge port. Was told the price before I left and we agreed on it.

I came back and they doubled the price.

Got home... they broke my phone. it now turns itself on and off repeatedly and kills the battery doing so. The phone was perfectly fine. It just needed the charge port changed. Now its useless. and of course they will never take responsibility for this.

So I paid them to to break it for me.

Highly recommend!

Fantastic customer service

I needed to get a new phone and was dreading having to do so,as I am not good with technology.
Having previously used PAIR for help with an old phone and found them excellent,I decided to go there for a suitable secondhand phone.
I was there on Sunday 7th of September at around 3.30pm. There were a few people ahead of me in the queue but all were looked after quickly and I was not left waiting for more than a few minutes during which time I browsed the phones for sale.
Nicole looked after me and set me up with a replacement phone and USB charging cable. She also ensured that all info was saved from my Simcard and transferred onto my new phone. She was so pleasant,helpful and efficient,something that I have not found in other mobile phone shops.
I will be recommending PAIR to friends and family.

Quick and cost effective

Woke up to the better half having a busted screen, a quick AI Search and found a Pair store near me, booked in online, dropped the phone off and went for a Sunday carvedy meal, all done within the hour and back home, great service

Blanchardstown store isn’t reliable

Blanchardstown store isn’t reliable.
I purchased a back camera protector for my phone at Pair and was told it came with a replacement guarantee if it broke. However, when I returned to the store to get it replaced, I was informed that the guarantee only covers the front screen protector — which I didn’t even buy. This was never explained at the time of purchase.
Unfortunately, I no longer trust this store and wouldn’t recommend it.
