I ordered a rocking chair

I ordered a rocking chair. I was given a delivery date and till(2 weeks or more after that date) all I hear is next week it arrives. I now have a baby since today and still without my chair. Your customer service has been horrible to say the least, no empathy. I saw your employees more concerned about their feelings on how an unhappy customer spoke about the facts and asked the hard questions than about the inconvenience and uncertainty that they cause to a customers family and new born child. I would not recommend & would speak to my colleagues and friends on my bad experience with you.

Thank you for your feedback, and congratulations on the arrival of your little one. We understand that in this special time, you were hoping to have the rocking chair at home and that waiting for your order may have been disappointing.

When you placed your order, we provided an estimated delivery timeframe, as this specific model and color are not standard stock in our stores and are dependent on our supplier's availability. We informed you of this in advance, and after your order, we also made efforts to keep you updated as best as possible via email and phone. The rocking chair has since arrived within the communicated timeframe and is ready for pickup, as we recently informed you.

Throughout this process, we also provided you with alternatives: you could choose a different color that was immediately available, wait for your chosen model, or cancel the order. We regret that these options did not meet your expectations.

Our team always strives to provide helpful, customer-focused service. Unfortunately, our staff was quite taken aback by the manner in which they were addressed, which may have impacted the flow of the conversation. We place high value on respectful communication from both sides, and our representative attempted to ensure this so that both parties could have a positive experience and continue the conversation in a productive and effective way.

We hope that the rocking chair will still be a wonderful addition to your home and that you will enjoy it for many years to come.
