PARAGON TRADES 

I wish we had gone somewhere else. The bathroom we got wasn't as shown in the plans, the door doesn't open it bang into the washbasin and the general finish wasn't that good. They didn't listen to our request for the type of taps we wanted and almost fitted a power shower despite us telling them that we only have an immersion heater which we try not to use. We went in to pay a couple of days before lockdown was announced and asked the designer to come out and see it, never heard from them since. On reflection we shouldn't have paid until they had offered a solution.

Fitted a bathroom for me and although the finished product is to a reasonabley high standard there were issues throughout. Was promised 5 day turnaround which I understand has to have flexibility but it took double the time. This stems from them being unable to manage their labour properly as there were days that no tradesman was onsite or only one which limited what they could do leaving a lot of things behind schedule. Nearing end of day four an issue with showerscreen was discovered which required replacement. Unfortunately even after asking and given confirmation that this was ordered on Friday afternoon(day 5) the screen was ordered the following Tuesday and delivered the Wednesday. It appears this was done as there was too much work running on from previous week to be able to manage correctly.

Above unfortunately wasn't the only problem as we had a damaged items fitted within bathroom, damage to livingroom and hallway walls, damage to kitchen Celling from a leak. Understandbly leaks can happen but was promised this would be rectifed which never materialised
