WILD Pet Food Reviews 

I have tried every brand there is when it comes to fresh, high quality dog food. Years, Butternut Box, Different Dog, Fidelis, Boost, Marley Bones you name it. I don't have a negative thing to say about the other brands as such, they are decent but WILD Fresh is a stand out for me and my pug.

WILD Fresh has ticked all my boxes, high quality ingredients, affordable (cheaper than alternatives which surprised me) and most importantly, the benefit to our pug Lola. Her coat is great, stools are great, she's very energetic for a pug, not a typical stereotype for the breed and is very active so I wanted top quality ingredients to meet her requirements.

Whilst other brands have their perks, like not requiring freezer space, I am more than happy to overlook this to stay with Wild Pet Food, looks like I have found her long term food. It has higher Meat content whilst maintaining all the extra nutrients my dog will need from veggies and supplements. High Meat content was a big one for me, and I wanted one that didn't just say 'beef', I know what organs are used, and I know they come from good sources.

My Labradork can be quite fussy, no issues with her wanting more of wild food, we choose rabbit as the protein as it’s a leaner protein and she can get a little chonky. When order is placed, the subscription usually arrives in a couple of days, and with emails to keep me upto date.

I was looking for a more complete food for my girls and Wild frozen dog food doesn't disappoint. My girls have always enjoyed meal times but they have never really squeaked with excitement - until now.
My girls definitely have given their seal of approval.

Unfortunately, my experience with the returns/refund process has been disappointing.

I returned 12kg of completely unopened food using the Royal Mail returns service provided by WILD. Royal Mail collected the parcel on 2nd September and tracking confirms it was delivered to WILD on 4th September at 10:48am.

When providing the return instructions, WILD's co-founder stated in writing that:
“Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of the item being received at our warehouse.”

When I still hadn't received my refund, I contacted WILD on 8th September. I also explained proactively that the bank account associated with my original payment card had since been closed and asked how they wanted to process the refund.

I received a response on 11th September, apologising for the delay and asking whether the refund could be sent to PayPal instead. I replied immediately that day with my PayPal details.

I am now still waiting for my £114.99 refund, despite the goods having been delivered back to WILD and despite providing the alternative payment details requested.

I have responded promptly at every stage and have proof of collection and delivery. I have now had to raise a formal complaint simply to try to get the refund processed.

I genuinely wanted WILD to work for my dogs, and my initial contact with the company was polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the subsequent experience of having to repeatedly chase a refund for unopened goods has let the experience down considerably.

If there is one thing I absolutely detest it is companies that auto subscribe you for future orders when you made a ONE OFF ORDER! You loose me and my recommendation instantly.

Love the very high quality products that reflects the ratios of proteins vegetables and minerals for a dogs optimal requirements. This brand is by far the best quality I have found to be available in the UK.

I did have an issue with an order but this just instilled my reason for 5 stars. They sorted it no problem and was super quick with the responses.

Only just started weaning, weaning abit slower than normal, i have working line malinois with a sensitive tum. All good so far and she loves it.

Have recently made the change to Wild pet. To start off, communications and advice have been first class and delivery was very prompt.
Heidi has taken to her new diet with no concerns and I'm hoping she is going to get the benefits of a much better diet than she previously had.

The fresh to frozen is a brilliant product the dogs love it 🐾 wouldn’t go or feed them anything else 🐾

My pup is LOVING the fresh-frozen range! We were already subscribed to the cold-pressed food - I really believe in the company and its commitment to proper good food as well as the complete transparency in what is in the food by providing proper percentages of each ingredient, so I’m really pleased to discover this range. This is a far more convenient than raw, which we had switched to for the majority of my dog’s diet, especially when the weather is warm and we are need to transport the food around. The frozen products are also very well packaged with many ice packs and wrapped in good insulating material so that they arrive still very frozen.
I am absolutely overjoyed that the fresh frozen food is absolutely wolfed down each time - with the bowl then licked clean! Well done, Team WILD - another excellent product!

Great food dogs seem to like it, found that I had to weigh to give right amount as very dense compared to kibble. But working well!
