Very poor

We were initially recommended Pelsall Windows by friends who were also having work completed. Amy came out to quote and was brilliant at first, offering helpful recommendations. Everything seemed positive, and both the survey and fitting were arranged quickly.

On fitting day, the fitter himself was excellent and could not be faulted. Unfortunately, the installation was full of issues. We had been advised by both Amy and the surveyor that a lintel was required, costing a couple of hundred pounds. However, the fitter explained it was not possible to fit one without removing all the brickwork around the door frame, so instead only three bricks were knocked back in and re-pointed.

We contacted the office regarding a refund for the work that was never carried out. Matt initially offered £100, later increasing this to £150 after we challenged it, despite us being quoted and charged more than that in the first place.

There were also several other issues: a replacement glass panel had been measured incorrectly and could not be fitted, we were given a sill we did not want, a key was missing, and the wrong lock was fitted.

When speaking to Matt again, he came across as rude and patronising, at one point even suggesting we could “have the steel” because we had paid for it. He also stated, “Imagine how I feel, you only handle 12 members of staff, I handle 20,” which was completely irrelevant and unprofessional during a customer complaint.

After standing our ground that £200–£300 worth of work had not been completed, we eventually received a £200 refund. However, based on the original quote for a “standard door” at £2,800 plus a few extras, we still feel we have been charged for work that was never carried out.

Overall, the door itself is lovely and the fitter was brilliant. However, the poor management and level of customer service provided by the office has been nothing short of disgusting. The fitting experience has been a complete and utter headache, made worse by how difficult Matt has been to communicate with.

Cannot fault Pelsall Windows

Cannot fault Pelsall Windows, all the staff are fantastic from the amazing Amy who is the friendliest and most enthusiastic person you could wish to meet to the surveyor and the fitters ... all are happy, friendly and nothing is too much bother. We had a front door, two side doors and patio doors last year and have just had the two front windows fitted. Amy recommended matching the design to the front door which is genius ... they look fantastic and we are already getting the neighbours complimenting and asking for details. We are so pleased. Thank you so much!

E good reliable service

The initial contact was with an ad hoc sales person on Cannock Market. He arranged for a follow up visit by Ami which took place within two days. She professionally out lined what their products were but also suggested a possible alternate to what I suggested and explained the benefits. We took her advice and have had out conservatory windows replaced together with a lounge patio door. Both have exceeded my hopes and were fitted quickly, efficiently with no mess. I can recommend this firm without resovation baased on our experiences.

Brilliant service. Arched window

We were given an extremely reasonable quote to fit our arched garage window which most firms were unable to supply. The team that supported us were polite and prompt in dealing with our queries. The gentleman that fitted it were friendly, courteous and efficient and the whole experience was exemplary.
Thank you

Excellent service

From ordering my glass panes to fitments went smooth. I am happy with the work. The workmen were friendly, courteous and efficient. I have used the company a few times now and I was given a discount for my loyalty. Winner all round. Excellent service. Would not hesitate to enlist the help this company again in the future.

I recently had new windows fitted at…

I recently had new windows fitted at the rear of my house, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional. The fitters were not only friendly but also efficient, making sure everything was installed perfectly with minimal disruption. They took the time to answer any questions I had, and their expertise was evident in every detail.

A special mention must go to Amy, who helped me choose the reeded glass for the windows. She was extremely approachable, offering excellent advice with a keen enthusiasm for her work. Her industry knowledge was impressive, and she made sure I picked a style that complements the age of my property beautifully. Since the windows have been fitted, I’ve received numerous compliments on the reeded glass, which adds both character and charm to the house.

I am absolutely delighted with the result and the service provided. Highly recommended!

Disrespect to their customers. No communication.

We have agreed on bifold doors, given the deposit, and were promised to have them fitted within 6 weeks. We displayed immense patience, but it seems there are limits to one's endurance. Unfortunately, those 6 weeks stretched into 8, and to our dismay, we were informed of a price increase. Despite our dissatisfaction, we tried to be understanding and agreed to the new terms. However, it has now been a staggering 16 weeks with little to no communication. Our concerns and pleas seemed to fall on deaf ears. In a desperate attempt to resolve the issue, we visited in person, and Matt, the representative, apologised and assured us of improved communication. Regrettably, this turned out to be yet another empty promise. We entrusted you with our hard-earned money, and in return, you raised the price without even bothering to keep us informed. The bare minimum we expected was proper communication. This is a significant investment for us, and the lack of consideration is truly disheartening. Finally, when someone did arrive to commence the work, they inadvertently damaged our wall. Again, no communication, leaving us with a gaping hole and no sign of the promised doors. We were informed that the doors had arrived and that we would be contacted within 2 weeks. Can you guess what happened next? Of course, no response was received. We have reached our breaking point. We have exercised enough patience and have now decided that a refund is the only acceptable resolution. The absence of communication, the unanswered phone calls, the closed gate, all serve as evidence of your disregard for us as customers.

I absolutely do not recommend.
