Worst hosting company I've ever dealt…
Worst hosting company I've ever dealt with. I've been online since 2005 and have never encountered worse technicians, sales people etc. Do not host with them. They overcharge and under deliver.
Performive is great to work with.
Performive is great to work with.
We have had a server with them for many years with no problems. When we need help with something they respond quickly and are able to fix the issue quickly. our other server was with another company that gave us 10 days notice they were shutting down and going out of business. We contacted Performive to set up a second server in a location across the country from the existing one. They took care of everything and had it set up and moved well before the deadline. Their support staff is amazing. They guided us through a few modifications we needed to make in order to get everything set up so it all works properly. Very happy with the service.
Very good support
Performive will nickel and dime you to…
Performive will nickel and dime you to death... They charge 3% for CC use but don't offer any other way of payment... and they charge monthly for cPanel. A first!
I had been with this company for 18 yrs. It was called EWD Hosting in 2005, then they merged or changed with another company... I stayed as a customer before it became Performive. I had, and paid for, a supposedly 3 Gb of memory but got constant emails that the virtual memory of 512mb was overused. This has never been explained by Performive. I gave up. Urgent tickets take over 2 or 3 hours to be answered. I had often no service on both of my website with no warning or no information from Performive. Stay away... unless you like being charged for lack of service and constant charges on your CC.
Following the reply from Performive:
I am not here to start an endless back and forth with a company more interested in cheating their customers than providing services. I was with your company not for just a couple of months BUT FOR 18 YEARS!!
Charging $32.25 + CC fee for a total of $33.38 PER MONTH for cPanel is unheard of in the industry! You're simply ripping off customers.
If you wanted to keep me as a customer you should have done what was necessary before I left you.
Mark Margagliotti also claim to help... but still waiting. I canceled my services on Tuesday but the account has still not be closed and I did not get any refunds for unused services. You do a lot of talking... but failed to prove you are trustworthy. There will be no further answer or reply to this one.
End of the story.
6/26/23 Don't expect to be refunded for unused services. They charge you by the month but won't prorate refund you if cancel after the period started. Total thieves!!
