Aylesbury used car sales - not happy at all! Miscommunication between staff, the details on their system obviously not up to date as staff didn't have all the info.
My daughter bought a used Peugeot 208E car and told it would be ready on Monday after buying on Saturday after one last clean. No finance as buying outright. Paid in full online over weekend.
Go to get car on Monday and waited over an hour to be told it needed an MOT and then the washer system needed replacing so wouldn't be ready.
On the Tuesday told parts were in and be ready that afternoon (got a text to prove this is what we were told) By afternoon told not ready as now needed a tyre.
Wednesday someone phoned and told us it won't be ready again as parts had only just arrived (so what parts arrived yesterday? What else needed doing, we weren't told what)
We have be been promised the car on Thursday morning. No idea if it'll turn up. The car has already been insured from Monday because that is what we were advised to do. Wasted 3 days so far on that!!
I'm so cross and wish I'd not bothered with Perry's. Avoid!

Avoid Perrys at all costs. I bought a car from Perrys of Bury that developed severe engine/emissions faults within six months. They dragged it out, so I took them to court and WON a County Court Judgment (CCJ). Perrys ignored the court order, so I sent High Court Bailiffs onto their showroom floor to seize my money.
Instead of accepting the court's decision, Perrys immediately engaged in aggressive legal posturing AFTER the bailiffs took the money. They threatened that they were going to force an independent inspection and take me to court to get the bailiff money back. I stood my ground and refused to let them touch or collect the car.
The tables only turned because I submitted a formal Subject Access Request (SAR) to demand my data. The second I requested my files, they panicked, dropped their legal threats, and rushed to sign the agreement. When the SAR bundle finally arrived, I saw why: their own internal records proved they had a manufacturer technical bulletin and workshop log (WIP 18031, Fault P0421) showing they KNEW the car was inherently defective from day one. They were threatening to sue me for a car they already knew was broken
When I emailed their Chief Executive, Denise Millard, I was ignored. When their Managing Director, Darren Ardron, brushed this off as just "running a busy dealership," it proved this toxic lack of accountability goes right to the top. They are corporate bullies who got caught out.
If Perrys comment on this review, I guarantee it will be a load of corporate rubbish trying to save face. I have all the black-and-white evidence to back up every word, and it has already been provided directly to Trading Standards and The Motor Ombudsman.

I’ve been using Perrys for the last 30 years, and even though I no longer live in the area, I still choose to bring my much-loved van to Ford Perrys. I’ve generally been happy and had no problems, but call centre mix-ups over the last couple of years have made things less straightforward. Despite having a service plan, I was seriously considering making this my last visit and finding somewhere closer to home in Oxford.
Today changed my mind. Although the car park was busy, it wasn’t as overcrowded as usual, and I found a space easily. Then I met Jess, who was absolutely brilliant. I’d been booked a courtesy van because I was dropping off a campervan, which was a fair assumption. Jess recognised that I didn’t need one and sorted out a car instead. She was polite, friendly and had a lovely personality. We shared some great banter, and the whole drop-off was hassle-free.
Later, I received a call about the MOT from a friendly, informative member of the team, followed by a text confirming that everything was complete and my van was ready to collect. Jess looked after me again when I returned, and I was on my way within 20–30 minutes.
The whole experience was faultless, but I really cannot praise Jess enough. I haven’t cancelled my service plan, and we’ll be back when the van is next due.
Please pass on my thanks to Jess and everyone involved for a job well done.

Waste of time buy a car.. when you want to px they do not want to know. Sell you package gold star that you never use. Buy a car off them it’s not worth anything when you want a px.

Very disappointed with our experience purchasing a used car from Perrys of Worksop and with the handling of our complaint regarding an Audi Q5 (registration number FY69 TSU).
We purchased the used car in June. Shortly after the purchase, we noticed a juddering sensation when setting off. When we collected the car, the service light was still on because Perrys did not have the equipment to remove it.
An independent specialist subsequently identified a gearbox fault and an engine remap, neither of which had been disclosed to us at the time of sale.
Perrys took the car in for the day to investigate the issues. However, they did not mention the engine remap during this inspection. We were later told that the car was ready to collect and that it needed two tyres. We were not offered the option of having Perrys replace them; instead, we were simply told to arrange this ourselves and “see how it goes”.
Following further email correspondence, we contacted Citizens Advice. They advised us to return the car and formally exercise our right to reject it.
We returned the vehicle on Thursday with a formal rejection letter. This was also sent by email and by recorded delivery.
As of today, we have received no response from Perrys—not even an acknowledgement confirming receipt of the vehicle or our correspondence.
Buying a used car with these issues has been stressful enough, but the lack of communication and reassurance from Perrys has made the experience considerably worse.
We will update this review when we receive further correspondence from them

I bought a used Kia EV from the Burnley branch. Between agreeing to purchase the car and picking it up they agreed to service it but the washer bottle was empty when I drove off - suspicious - was it actually serviced ? When I got home I realised that the service book was missing and when they finally gave me it a week later it was unstamped and there was no service receipt. I made several requests for the paperwork face to face, via the online customer satisfaction survey and twice via their online complaint form asking for the service report and if the unstamped book meant that my warranty was void ? Nothing. No follow up from them at all.
The only positive thing I can report was that they took the car back in to touch up the paint on the bonnet because it was presented with a deep scratch but surely any decent dealership would have sorted that beforehand?
Come on Perrys - not good enough for a main dealership - I'd have done better going Honest John's used car lot and not paying main dealer prices

Jemima Huddersfield Citroen what a star !!.
I spotted a car online whilst abroad on holiday for sale and was keen to purchase. Jemima rang me and agreed the deal and I collected 5 days later ..
Upon arrival at the branch Jemima explained the car and its functions within great detail and even connected my phone to the car . so helpful and knowledgeable and no hard sell .
Jemima rang me three days after purchase to check in, never had that before, again she has went above and beyond. Just need to open a branch in Edinburgh !.
Thanks Jemima

I’ve bought 3 cars from Perrys Rotherham, but this last time September 26 is by far the worst. The car isn’t the issue it’s the after sales. I part exchanged my car value at £4000 and paid almost £11000 in cash. I was promised a full valet (not done) a second key (still waiting) and £30 of fuel as I took my car in with a full tank (still waiting), this is my 2nd complaint we arrange the valet for last week and the fuel and salesman Andy promised again to arrange the key but I’m still waiting. Very poor after sale service.

Absolutely appalling aftersales service. I reported a fault on my Mazda cx-3 roughly a month after buying it, I was then given an appointment, after waiting around for another month (because that’s how long I had to wait for them to look at it) the day before I was supposed to take it in I received a voicemail telling me they don’t actually repair mazdas!
I then got passed between 3 different Perry’s sites with nobody taking responsibility, before being told to find a Mazda repairer myself at my own expense as there was nothing else they could do.
The even more ridiculous part? Perrys own website advertises Mazda repairs, diagnostics and warranty work by specialised Mazda technicians!
I had already left Perrys a 5 star review after buying the car. I wish I hadn’t. Selling a car is one thing; supporting your customer when something goes wrong is another.
Be very aware when buying a car from these people as they will try to sell you an extended warranty for nearly £600 in my case, I promise you, that warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

I recently purchased a nearly new Kia EV. Had a good experience. Glenn was informative and guided me through my first EV drive. The transfer of vehicles (part-ex) was very smooth. All very professional. Happy with the price paid.

This is my 2nd car from Perrys swinton near Mexborough, the staff are really friendly and helpful not pushy at all, on both occasions Carl has helped me choose the car thank you

Excellent service from Humzah at Perrys Aylesbury. The whole buying process was straightforward and stress-free.
Although the car's second key wasn't available when I collected the vehicle, Perrys promptly sent a replacement key and reimbursed me for the programming cost at a Citroën main dealer without any fuss.
Very pleased with both the car and the after-sales support. Highly recommended.

I'll cover the negative first.
When I took a test drive of a nearly new EV I liked the car but wanted reassurance on the battery State of Health. Both the salesman and his manager told me they couldn't get one. After buying the car with some reservations I found out getting a battery soh report is really easy so I'm surprised their service team couldn't have provided that.
As it is the battery seems fine, but when you're paying £18k upfront, a little better service seems reasonable.
So what would have been a 4/5 star review goes down a bit.
Test drive was good, buying process was fine. Car was presented in very good order.
