Philips refuses refund after not delivering products

I had ordered products in the online shop. Because of some mistake that happened at the shipping company, the products did not get delivered. Instead, they were sent back to Philips.

I then tried to get a refund, since I had payed for but not received the products. Even though I sent Philips the shipping company's confirmation that the products had been sent back to Philips, Philips refused to refund me. In other words: They kept my money even though they now had the products I had payed them for.

For about half a year, they kept coming up with more and more reasons as to why they could not refund me, each time asking me for more documents to proof my claim, such as, for example, copies of the communication between me and the shipping company. I sent them all the requested documents. Eventually, they just stopped replying.

To sum up: They did not refund me, had no reason to not refund me, and they kept me busy for half a year just to avoid having to repay me what I had payed them for goods that never reached me. They simply pocketed my money.

Decent DAB radio with slight flaw

I purchased a Philips DAB radio (model number AE5220/12) from Amazon, it came all the way from Italy which took about a week. The radio is pretty powerful and stylish but one flaw I have noticed is that the power switch sometimes doesn't work first time, you have to switch on several times to get reception. Overall I am pleased with the radio.
