Killed their website with a subsciption system.
This website has gone downhill just like everyone else is saying. I don't watch TV or Youtube, just read articles and maaan. Their music reviews have been bad for the past decade or more. I literally had to find a new music review site to get good reviews from and that's sad.
Fifteen years ago, it was a truly great music magazine. They also had a smart, innovative approach to internet media, using experimental design that emphasized their open-mindedness. Now, it’s just another product, hardly different from a sanitized YouTube channel, stripped of anything that isn’t deemed “ethically” correct. sad.
Honestly speaking the don't know what they're doing like honestly speaking they rate ice spice higher than Eminem, tupac,Taylor swift,Travis Scott among others even though I like ice spice its too much its disappointing.BTW its 2024 about to go to 2025 for me that is
I am disgusted, not only did you rate the white album by Weezer a 6.2 which is very underrated for one of my favourite Weezer albums. You rated the green album a 4!? That is despicable. You then rated the red album a 4.7, what the heck. This is all severely wrong and I hate you. NOT ONLY THAT BUT YOU RATED RATITUDE .5 ABOVE GREEN ALBUM. WHAT THE HECK, RATITUDE IS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. You also rated Make Believe a 0.4... what the heck, it may be mid but it has a few good tracks what were you thinking. You also rated the black album a 5.something, that is higher than green, the only alright song on that album is can't knock the hustle. You also rated the black album on the same level as maladroit. I am upset and righteously so.
Some good reviews but they gave St. Anger by Metallica a really low score and that's unforgivable in my book.
The site is famous for its boldness and high level of musical appreciation. This website is appreciated for honoring the unknown talents beside the legend geniuses.
From 2002 to 2009, the magazine has made the the breakthrough of the world critique in music when they proposed five lists about best albums of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.
In present, the site is one the most favorite music websites on over the world, beside Rolling Stone, NME, Spin...
