Con artists

This is the great con trick. The MD is well presented and gives you a sense that you will be dealing with professionals.

From day one they were onto a scam, blaming our water for issues, then our filter, then other equipment. Naturally you take advice and change things.

We eventually decided to leave after a catalogue of poor service / no service and our new pool maintenance company fixed every issue on the 1st visit.

Don’t be lulled into a false sense of security that they are a good company - they are con artists and only care about taking money from you.

Avoid Avoid Avoid

Where do I start? After meeting the MD of Poolman I was assured that the installation of my new liner pool would be stress free, no issues as this was their "standard" installation and I would enjoy the experience. After nearly a year, the installation is still not complete. To make matters even worse, the products and services that they have provided have since failed and the entire wall on one side has broken away leaving the pool unusable and un safe. The stance the MD has taken is that they are NOT responsible yet it is clear via CCTV footage that their products have failed and now they expect me, the client to pay for the entire liner to be replaced and more. The list of emails, telephone calls and problems are endless which are all documented and making my review based on facts! What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience has actually been the worst 9 months of my life dealing with Poolman. My young family are now left with a broken pool to look at instead of having lots of fun which has cost over £50,000. Is this fair, no. Is this right, No, yet the MD of the company has refused to answer my emails, and correct the mess that they have caused. To add, we have had 4 different heaters due to faults, water temp not reaching levels that was promised and issues with an automatic cover that costs £17,000 alone. Although the team at Poolman are fantastic, the MD runs his business as a sales only model and customer service is non existent. Stay away is my advice!

I would not use this company

I would not use this company, a catalogue of errors refurbishing my pool. A six week job took over a year to complete and ender in them taking me to court for £600 that I held back for all the trouble they caused me. The add insult to injury had i gone to another company I would have paid half what I was charged.
