How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Sudden removal of very factual and thorough review
1) For 12 years we provided number of reviews at ProductReview which not only rated service providers and products, but also educated public. We spent lot of time not only providing factual comments in the forums, but also helped their brand by having 33,970 people reading our reviews and 28 people who liked the reviews.
Suddenly, our largest contribution was removed without any attempt to contact us, in spite of public favoring it and service provider (strata agency) never contacting us to refute or complain about our comments and evidence (they were explicitly challenged to respond in public forum and never did).
2) To make things worse, they seemingly locked our account.
3) Through email, we asked ProductReview for an explanation - they silently declined.
4) As ProductReview left our other reviews intact, we then requested that all of them be removed as we do not condone false reviews and ratings. They did not respond or take action.
5) Then, we found a false and misleading perfect rating for the same strata agency. We warned ProductReview to remove that review because it was submitted by somebody who was not a customer of the strata agency, but a close business associate with special undisclosed benefits. ProductReview did not reply to us or take any action.
For public reference: legal precedent was established on 31 July 2018, in Australian Competition and Consumer Commission v Meriton Property Services Pty Ltd (No. 2) [2018] FCA 1125: Justice Moshinsky of the Federal Court of Australia imposed a penalty of $3 million upon Meriton Properties for misleading the public by filtering, selecting or limiting the guest email addresses it supplied to the TripAdvisor website, by supplying only the email addresses of those guests likely to post favorable reviews.
6) We were trying to educate ProductReview staff in the past, and even exchanged number of emails about improvements to make public more confident about their site.
One item that stood out:
In December 2022, ProductReview announced that BCS Strata Management was Award Winner for 2023.
Let's analyze the 2022 data and see if that result was reasonable:
16 submissions by customers with Rating 1 (worst rating out of 5) in 2022
1 submission by customer with Rating 3 in 2022 (this owner originally gave Rating 1 and then changed to Rating 3)
11 submissions by customers with Rating 5 (highest rating out of 5) in 2022
If all of this sound unbelievable, we can provide irrefutable evidence.
It will be very sad if the above issues are not addressed by ProductReview now and in the future.
Melbourne Fergusons Plumbing
I live overseas, my disabled daughter lives in OAk Park in a property i bought for her to live in...her toilet blocked up...I made the big mistake of going to the first big glossy adertiment for a melbourne plumber...I wanted a quick fix for my daughter so contacted the first plumber I found...HUGE MISTAKE...
Ferguson plumbing sent a young guy...what a smart arse...when I questioned what he was actually doing he advised their price of $900 to unblock a pipe less than 2 meters long.!!!
He explained they had specialist equipment worth thousands of dollars.. they were fully trained...bla bla...obviously his employer had instructed him on how to justify their ridiculous pricing...when I got a bit heated he said..ok im leaving...almost had to plead with him to stay to finish the job.
$900...and he left within 30 minutes...basically a large bicycle pump, sealed into the bottom of the toilet bowl...pushed out the blockage...very simple...not equipment worth thousands at all.
Warning people...this company have lovely advertising...great website...but will RIP YOU OFF BLIND...FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER...PLEASE...
So easy to use
Great service Arnold Creek Pizzaria (Melton Vic)
Ordered (in advance) Arnold Creek Pizzaria's 10 x Pizza pack to feed two families.
Pizzas were delivered on time with a bit extra thrown in.
Pizzas were excellent. Out-of-towners asked where they came from.
Easy to organise our day with that business.
Thanks Arnold Creek Pizzaria ...John

Do not trust AAI group insurers Suncorp
Do not trust AAI Suncorp or any of their insurance group (Listed below) their award winning Ai algorithm for online insurance applications, will let you put your policy in force, all will be good until claim time, then they'll spend months trying to deny your claim.
Please make no mistake, this insurer is not the one who looked after Queenslanders for decades.
They deny....
1.if you own a farm
2.if you ever let anyone camp on your property
3.if you operate a business from any part of your property no matter how small.
4.if you've had a hail storm (that's been widely covered by media, you'll still have to prove that you had a hail storm, damaging your 6 cars, 3 caravans and 3 houses on our property, stalling some claims for 7 and 1/2 months and ongoing.
5. They will ask unreasonable questions, then when you don't or can't answer the deny your claim.
NOTE - you must print all correspondence from them, they illegally have the ability to remotely remove all their correspondence off your computer (this is in the hands of ASIC) as misconduct.

Ghosted by Best & Less.
I ordered an item from Best & Less online on the 4/5/2026. Later that day they said my order had been sent. It hadn't. 11 days later and it still hasn't been given to Australia Post. I first emailed Best & Less, on day 8, to request my full refund of $19:99. No reply from anyone at Best & Less. They then sent me a Review to complete, on my order satisfaction. Again, I requested my refund. 3 emails later, requesting my full refund, and still not a word from Best & Less. They've done nothing but ghost me since I asked for MY money back.
Just give me my $19:99 back.
Update: Best & Less never replied to emails, Complaint, or Reviews. I had to submit a Transaction Dispute, and the bank refunded my money straight away. I won't buy from Best & Less again.

MyBOQ mobile app
“This complaint relates specifically to the myBOQ digital banking platform and support service. I have experienced excessive telephone wait times and repeated non-responses through the in-app secure chat, making it difficult to obtain assistance or resolve banking matters in a reasonable timeframe.”

I ordered a dolphin lamp from Decors…
I ordered a dolphin lamp from Decors Deluxe, and initially had good communication from them regarding delivery time. The package arrived within the expected time frame.
However, the dolphin lamp was described on line as a "stained glass" and "battery" or "usb" operated lamp. I ordered a "battery" operated "stained glass" dolphin, and paid an extra $5 for packaging, believing it was "stained glass" and breakable, total cost $85.
However, I received a plastic/resin type dolphin which is usb operated and not battery. Also the quality of this lamp is very poor for the price of $80. It looked nice quality on the website photo.
I contacted Decors Deluxe via e-mail, and initially got responses, giving me the option of a percentage refund, and keeping the dolphin, or a part credit for another purchase and to keep the dolphin. Because I had purchased the dolphin as a gift, and due to its poor quality, am unable to gift it, I requested a full refund, and I agreed to pay the postage to return the dolphin. I requested a return address and eventually was then given an address to return the package to China. My husband took this package addressed to return to the given China address, with paper work, to our local Post Office, however, he was told and shown documentation, that it is now a legal obligation in Australia that packages sent to China must be accompanied with a phone number, which we were not given by Decors Deluxe. We have now sent 4 e-mails requesting a phone number, but have not got a response. Decors Deluxe only allow 30 days for a return, and we are running out of time. I assume we are going to be stuck with a poor quality dolphin which was inaccurately described on line and which cost us $85. Not good enough, and wont be buying from them again. Rosemary Elmes.
Don’t use them
Firstly, I used Shop for tracking purposes and to purchse for the flowers, it changed all the delivery details I had entered and checked so the flowers were then going to be delivered to my address . After a phone call to change the address for delivery, with an operator who kept sighing, we sorted it. This was all at 9.30am. It was stressful as I was meant to be able to track the delivery via updates on the app which still showed my address and no delivery updated tracking. Anyway, I’d lost faith by late afternoon. I checked in with the recipient the next morning and YES! They arrived in the evening of the day they were meant to be there. But nothing like what I ordered. They were nice, but I ordered bright cheery colors for an unwell friend, they were meant to arrive in a mason jar. Nope. Muted pastels and no jar. Over all, a stressful and disappointing experience. Find somewhere else for your flower needs.
I had an expensive painting couriered…
I had an expensive painting couriered from Adelaide to Sydney. Paid additional monies for insurance due to the value of the painting.
Couriers Please were the company contracted by pack and send to deliver to our Sydney address.
The driver was required to get a signature.
I have the video to show that he took 7 seconds to lean our expensive painting against a wall in our entrance/drive way. He did not ring our doorbell, which was located an arm's length away and we were home. I only realised the painting had arrived as I tracked the parcel to be advised it had been delivered and signed for. To say I was alarmed would be an understatement.
You ring the company to complain and you know nothing happens.
I would have been absolutely devastated had this painting been taken from our driveway. It's not like I can purchase another on Amazon.
I would think twice about using Couriers Please.

Terrible communication. No way to speak to a person. Hours waiting on chat lines only to be told the same thing over and again with no resolution to problems. Repeatedly asked to wait 24/48 hours for something to happen only to be disappointed again.

Customer not valued at Redback Boots
I have been buying Redback boots for 40 years. Regrettably I have an issue with the last two pairs. I thought as a loyal customer I should alert the company. Went on the website and sent in a customer feedback which the site acknowledged as received. I heard nothing. Two weeks later I sent an email to the customer support address. Message was delivered. Again nothing. I saw a Redback boots site on Facebook and ended up messaging a Redback representative and explained my frustration. That person promised to investigate and revert to me. Again nothing. I sent a last message saying his disgusted I am that I am not valued as a customer. The message was read but now ignored. I can’t complain about the customer service as there is none. After 40 years I have bought another brand. It is a shame that Australian companies like Redback don’t value their customers and then they wonder why people buy elsewhere and they go broke. I am very disappointed and hurt the way Redback has treated a loyal customer. Loyalty is a two way street. So beware folks of Redback boots.
We had a false 1 star report made about…
We had a false 1 star report made about our business. We contacted product review to remove the false review - explaining the situation - we offered email evidence of the correspondence by the individual using a false name. We have offered a broad range of evidence, including emails and a police report. They did not ask to review the emails, etc., and just made an unqualified determination that the review doesn't breach their standards. I am so frustrated that a person creates a false name and has literacy issues can make a complaint that can't be substantiated. Shame on you, product review - you have created a platform that allows no recourse.
Electrolux service centres do not…
Electrolux service centres do not deliver in their warranty’s. We bought a front loader and it stopped working after 8 months. A technician looked at and advised that it needed replacing. It’s been 2 months and we are still waiting for the replacement. We rang the company that electrolux said were delivering the repayment washing machine on the 20/4. We rang them and they said they told Electrolux that they do not do deliveries anymore. This company tells lies and fails to contact their customers. I can not recommend them for washing machines. Their service is pathetic, their customer service is pathetic and they tell lies.
