One you have one of these taps you will never go back.

Bought 4 way tap, blender valve and 4 litre tank direct from Qettle. Delivered within a couple of days. Installed by an accredited installer, as a) I have no DIY skills, b) it's slightly more complicated than advertised and c) the underneath of our sink was a mess of pipes. Installer professional, and wholly unfazed, but took him about 3 hrs. Tap works brilliantly. Haven't used a kettle since. Excellent service from Qettle and installer. No more wasted water.

great looking tap and features. like the quietness of the hot function unlike other brands and lower risk of scalding. overall really pleased with quality and price.

Have now had a few weeks with the Qettle and I think enough time to offer some feedback and thoughts.

I deliberated much over which tap to pick - I had an Insinkerator which gave hot but not boiling water, so that was my main criteria. In my search, the price difference between Qettle and others was significant - in some cases Qettle was almost half the price. On reading reviews, I noted that it did indeed deliver boiling water and thought that then the main criteria was being met.

It's fair to say that I now see where the differential in price is reflected in the product. It looks and fits well - I had mine fitted by a qualified plumber.

Firstly, the comms and delivery was prompt and easy.

In its use, is where the niggles are apparent:
- there is no insulation in the tap stem, so on using boiling water the stem gets very hot to the point of untouchable
- as a result of the above, any water discharged immediately thereafter from the tap is also hot until cooling with run-through
- the boiling water is not consistently so, sometimes so hot, it spurts , other times very obviously extremely hot , but not , I'd venture 100C. Though a caveat here is that the boilng option on the controls does have play such that you turn around 1/6 clockwise and perhaps in what is a gradient, I'm not consistently turning fully?
- like the tap stem, the actual reservoir under the sink is warm to the touch, so assume that while there is insulation, it is not complete.
- Further, the reservoir unit under the sink makes an odd gurgling sound after use (I have sent a video of this to Qettle)

So,my experience of Qettle taps, limited though it is, is somewhat favourable ( it is an attractive unit and I get 100C water) but was perhaps expecting too much given the price diffferential!

I bought a Qettle because it saves time, energy and money as well as being so much more convenient. In the past I had a Qooker Tap but felt that they were very expensive compared to Qettle (yet did the same job?)
I have found that, astonishingly, the Qettle is FAR better! It is easier to install, easier to use, has better filter and boils to 100degrees…. Absolutely brilliant buy. Would highly recommended

The sales support team were very helpful and quickly responded to my queries.
It's easy to install the new tap and boiler using the instructions provided.
There is zero nose from the boiler when its heating water unlike the hot tap it replaced.

A great tap, it’s our second as we’ve moved house and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great value and quality.

I had a Qettle boiling water tap installed in 2022, and every single year since, something has gone wrong. While the first incident was likely user error when a filter got stuck in the housing unit, the system itself has proven incredibly unreliable. On two separate occasions, including over Christmas 2023 we’ve been left without the boiling / filtered water. Customer service was helpful each time and sent out replacement housing, but the issues didn't stop there.

A while later, we noticed a leak in the condensation outlet pipe. When I contacted Qettle, they informed me it was an internal issue with the water tank so that needed replacing. Now, I’ll likely need to replace the tap as well, which means I will have replaced literally every single part of this product since buying it.

The tap is the final straw, the safety stopper feature for the boiling water has stopped working. As a parent of two young children, this is a major safety concern and completely unacceptable.

Ironically, I initially chose Qettle over another brand because the competitor disclosed that a small amount of hot water will flush out when you use the filtered water after using the boiling side. Qettle does the exact same thing—they just don't mention it on their website.

To give credit where it's due, the customer service team has always been polite and responsive. However, good customer service cannot make up for an inherently flawed and unreliable product.

Great tap. Does exactly what we wanted it for and gives a lot more space in the kitchen

I bought mine in 2020 and just over 5 years later the boiler broken down and is no longer in use. in 2023 I received an email with a warning that one of the hoses comes from a faulty batch and I was advised to buy a new tap yet no discount was available and since it was out of warranty at the time no support was given. Despite following the installations for regular cleaning and buying filter every 6 months with very little daily use having 4 L tank for 2 people of which only 1 person would use boiling water its very disappointing the profuct lasted only for 5 years
I am highly disappointed with the product and no support and lack of customer service since its not the cheapest product out there
Just to set things straight
My partner phoned the customer service to ask for advice regarding the faulty tank and was advised to give it another clean and see how it was going
And with regards to faulty hose in 2023 despite it was manufacturing fault we were not offered the replacement or advised to buy a whole new tap which would costs at the time around £200
so with all respect I do not appreciate the company reply to my feedback

Really pleased with our choice. After several years of 24/7 provision of boiling/ cold filtered water we changed our Qettle tank and are so impressed by the customer service at Qettle, the speed of delivery of a new tank,and the efficient, fast and friendly installation they arranged.

Replacement for the old system because I love the support given. Great company and great service

This is our second brand of boiling water tap. When the first failed, we were looking for a mid-priced boiling water tap and in researching, found Qettle to be perfect for what we needed. Qettle are very thorough in assessing suitability for fitting of their product, asking for photos of our plumbing and kitchen cupboard. The order process was easy and we decided to use a recommended Qettle fitter which was a bit pricey but gives assurances too. The customer service department has been very accessible and helpful when I have rung with questions. They are a British company, competing with big brands and have motivation to build a good reputation.
Qettle's on-going maintenance costs (filters/descaler) are much lower than we were paying with our previous brand.

Been using this hot water tap system for 6 months now and all is good. It's a simple system to fit and operate. I bought mine online, via the qettle website. When fitted the 4ltr boiler leaked but a replacement was sent the very next day.

Paul was great, install was pailess and he has done a tidy job. He has been able to keep everything together allowing us to maximise the space under our sink.

Brilliant service from all the team and the installation crew.
Love love love our new Qettle tap, easy to use and meant we did not need a hot feed to that sink with the blender valve. Works a treat.
