had a great experience with this distributor. The service is very fast, smooth, and reliable from start to finish. What really stood out is the support team. You can tell there are real humans behind it, always responsive, helpful, and easy to talk to. The website is simple to use and makes uploading and managing music stress free. They also show genuine support for artists, which makes a big difference. Highly recommended.

Recordjet is awesome

I am a newcomer artist (Robert Romeo) and first used a different distributer (major international one). I received from them no help at all and never saw my spotify profile and support was extremely bad. Therefore I changed to Recordjet, which was the best decision ever!

Recordjet gives you so much information and support and uploads it in highest quality to many plattforms. I did not even expect to see a shazam result on the first day of my new single release. Recordjet is awesome!

recordJet is affordable, feature-rich, with an excellent support team

After a wholly underwhelming experience with another digital distributor, I turned to recordJet to help manage my online music catalog. They were attentive, efficient, and answered all of my inquiries directly. While many other distributors provide very little human support, it has been easy to get in touch with the team at recordJet and they always answer my questions thoroughly. Any independent musician should consider them to distribute their music.

Helped me get my songs reinstated after spotify decided to delete them for no reason. Has customer service that actually responds to you, unlike other popular distributors like Distrokid.

Excellent support and a great platform for independent artists

I’m just starting my journey as an independent artist and I have to say that recordJet has been an amazing partner so far. Their platform is clear and professional, and what impressed me the most is their support team — they are fast, friendly and very helpful.

I had some doubts and needed to adjust details in my first release, and they guided me through the process with patience and clarity. Within a short time everything was solved and my music was on the way to the stores.

For any independent musician looking for transparency, support and reliability, recordJet is definitely a great choice. Highly recommended!

Remove my release and lock my account for no reason

I’ve heard and used Recordjet for the first time because of reasonable price.
I put my release and waited.
They said they will review about 48 hours, i waited more than 48 hours.
Until that they sent me the email that my release has been removed and deactivate my account in 14 days because “they have the rights to do so”, no explanation, what problems about my release and just say me violating their ToS even thought they have no proof.
The only good thing is they actually refund unlike tunecore
So if you are planning upload your songs on RJ, i wouldn’t recommend using it.

In your case we (recordJet) have exercised our rights (as mentioned in our Terms and Conditions you have confirmed) to reject the entire Repertoire or portions thereof and/or Accompanying materials at our own discretion.
We deemed your account and releases as suspicious, therefore we have ended the cooperation proactively.
The price of the release has been refunded back to you.

These cats have sent me an email claiming I owe them 9000 euros for hosting 1 release.

There was a formatting error the message. The amount was of course incorrect. However, we also sent a correction of the message to all affected users on the same day as we noticed the error.

You can also view your account balance in your recordJet account at any time. If your account balance is negative, you can only balance it via your recordJet account and only for a maximum of the amount that your account is in the red. It is therefore not possible to pay us a higher amount.

We are really sorry for the first message with the wrong amount, but as we said, we sent a correction to all users that day.

Helpful and friendly

I am very happy with my experience with recordJet. They have been friendly, supportive, and responsive with my very first releases. Beate helped me out with some minor problems that showed up on the way, all in a timely manner, with patience and compassion.

Waste of time

Release got erased with no info. No mails, no questions from the support at least a refund. Total waste of time. Thanks for any inconvinience.

Edit: no email with an info of the rejection has been received. I chose another music provider who did the job very professional without hesitation. Music was in the first store 20 hours after upload!

Summary of your service Recordjet

Summary of your service Recordjet: you have higher requirements than any other service, your support is questionable and you only get an answer after 4 days... your product doesn't work properly, many people regularly have "unique" problems that are not unique when more than 20 people are affected! We made 4 releases through you and released from different accounts, 4 times there were problems! Whether before the release or at release! Recordjet is apparently not in the long to offer its customers the promised service because they describe it as so great. You just cost nerves, time and money, instead of making Distrokid better you made an upgrade version! Really think about your product, because that borders on kidding!

In general we answer inquiries after 24 hours on weekdays. If we are dealing with many requests at once, it can take a little way longer. However, we always try to answer all questions as fast as possible.
In fact, releases have to meet certain store requirements, otherwise they would be blocked. In addition, as a distributor, we would receive a poorer rating from the stores in the long run, which in turn would result in a slower delivery speed and, as a result, poorer service for our users. Therefore we have to check all releases first before we can deliver them. We always recommend submitting releases at least 2 weeks before the planned publication date, also because the stores themselves still need a certain amount of processing time.
Furthermore, it is in our greatest interest that all data is always correct, everything is available and working. Any deviations or errors create a lot of work for us and eat up time unnecessarily. With our low prices, this should happen as little as possible and all errors should be corrected immediately.

Unfortunately, we have no influence on the technology and troubleshooting of the stores. We do everything we can to deliver perfect data directly to the stores. After that, we can only keep checking back, communicating with them and pointing out errors.

Big time scammer.

Big time scammer.

First they approve your release - all is fine. Then, after weeks of having your music online, suddenly you got to verify your whole identity and send very private information about yourself.
But yeah, fine, at this point you're already invested and see that you should be receiving royalties - done marketing and all those other things.
Filled in the verification form and keep getting rejected. You have to make a photo of your ID, passport, drivers license and what not. It's nuts and in the end you get rejected meanwhile they have all your private information.

At least I got refunded but my royalties were WAY more than what I got refunded. Lost time, money in marketing and more.

Stay away from this scam company!

First they rejected my release and then…

First they rejected my release and then they are refusing to give me a refund! I've used another distributor for my release and it is live.
Don't use this service and stay away from them.
