Response to the accusations in the reply to my review
This is my response to the false accusations made in your public reply to my review.
Unfortunately, your response contains several statements that are simply untrue.
I have screenshots of our conversations documenting the delays in resolving maintenance issues, my availability for appointments, and the repeated excuses I was given. The suggestion that repairs were delayed because I was unavailable is false. In general, it is simply not normal to rent out the apartment that has problems with the toilet. (I was promised when I moved in it will take few days, in reality it was around a month to fix))
Contacting your agency outside business hours only happened in genuine emergencies, such as when my apartment was being flooded or when due to your agents false promises I didn’t sleep for one year. I believe any reasonable tenant would seek immediate assistance in that situation.
Your statement regarding my neighbours is also completely inaccurate. I never had conflicts with my neighbours. In fact, the only interaction I had was when I had to call the police because the students living above me were having loud parties until 5 a.m., after I had repeatedly been assured before signing the contract that the apartment was located in a quiet area.
While I understand that you cannot control nearby businesses or people on the street, I specifically asked about the noise before renting because I needed a quiet place to study. Your agent assured me multiple times that it was a peaceful location, which was simply not true.
It is also misleading to suggest that I refused reasonable alternatives. The apartments offered were not comparable and were not an acceptable solution after I had already paid a substantial agency commission.
I also reject your attempt to portray me as a "difficult tenant." I have rented apartments many times in different countries and have never experienced such poor communication or treatment. This was the only tenancy where I encountered these kinds of problems.
What is particularly disappointing is that, even after my experience, I personally witnessed one of your agents telling another prospective tenant that the apartment was quiet when she specifically asked about noise. Knowing what I had gone through, hearing the same assurances being given again was shocking.
Finally, I also find it concerning that many of your positive reviews appear to have been written by your own employees. Readers can draw their own conclusions.
I will not tolerate being publicly accused of behaviour that never happened. I know how I treated your staff, and I have evidence to support my version of events. Asking for updates after weeks of waiting for repairs, or contacting your agency during emergencies, does not make someone a difficult tenant.
My review reflects my genuine experience during my tenancy, and I stand by every statement that I can support with documented evidence. Anyone reading both our responses is welcome to draw their own conclusions.
