I had a great day! Booked a tour and tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable, and the staff was super friendly. After the tour, I could walk around the vineyards on my own, just enjoying nature. The area is not very big.
There's a restaurant there too (although on the pricey side) where you can have food and/or more drinks.
I recommend going on the earlier time slots if you enjoy a calm and quiet, almost private atmosphere.
I chose to walk to the place: it's about 40 minutes from the train station, and you walk along the road (mostly walkable but there are a few patches with a very tight sidewalk). So unless you're looking for adventures, probably better to get a taxi.

Our tour guide was excellent and gave us a history of this very impressive wine estate and a detailed explanation of how their English sparkling wine is made. He was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer the questions we had. The wine tasting was excellent too, so we ended up taking advantage of the discount and buying some home.

Really nice tasting experience and delicious wines.

This is the UK's Leading sparkling wine brand and for good reason! I first tried their wines at the amazing onsite restaurant and have always made the purchase when I've seen it at a restaurant of retailer since!!
