I would give it 0 stars if it would let me. They claim to save you money but the bill negotiation is a scam. They “negotiated” a bill and claimed to save me over $700 a year when they really only saved me $4 a month then they charged me almost $300 for this. They will not reverse the charge even though I gave them proof of the savings they claimed and how in actuality it did not happen. The customer service is horrible. They are very rude and they won’t let you talk to someone over the phone it’s all through email which takes days to get a response. I would stay far away from this app and subscription.

Jose was very helpful. He removed all duplicates, including ones that showed under a different name but were indeed duplicates. He was patient and helped me quickly.

I have liked the ability to have a better idea of my finances, the breakdowns of categories and flagging bills I may be unaware of. However, I tried the "negotiate my bill for me" thing with my Frontier internet bill and they failed miserably. First, a tech just shows up at my house, confused and unsure why he's there. Leaves and said he uninstalled the home phone. I kept getting alerts that I needed to reschedule, so I call and nothing had been done. I call again, sit on the phone for ours to be connected w Loyalty who says they reduced my bill. I go on, then get an alert that my next bill is due. Surprise surprise, not lowered. Called AGAIN and had to do it a third time. Rocket didn't do shit. I had to ask for my $200+ dollars back that they were real quick to take. Here's a tip: dont take the money if you didn't finish the work.

Amazing!!! First of all I love Rocket Money. I love I how can keep track of all my finances in one place! Recently I switched backs. I had a few questions about how to switch them on this app. Fox did an incredible job helping me out and answering all my questions and walking me through what I needed to do to get things done. Fox also did amazing letting me know what to expect!

They’re good at other things within the app but when it comes to bill negotiation they do anything to take money from consumers. I have sent countless emails with no reply back. Plus showing I did the negotiations on my own back in March/ April with an email showing to get a loyalty discount from my phone provider. Rocket Money took money from my Apple Pay illegally claiming they did negotiations. This is considered illegal and fraudulent in my state. Promptly cancelled my premium subscription. They lost trust me with me. If their agent told the truth, then this review would not happen.

What happened? - Rocket Money created multiple obstacles to customer and hold my money, as described below:

My experience with Rocket Money was extremely disappointing. I had no issues depositing money into my savings account, but when I attempted to withdraw my own funds, Rocket Money imposed additional verification requirements that were never disclosed upfront. Even after linking my Bank of America account through Plaid and providing a bank statement, I was asked to upload a copy of my government-issued photo ID through a third-party link.

What concerns me most is the lack of transparency and customer support. Rocket Money does not provide a readily accessible customer service phone number, leaving customers to communicate only through email while their funds remain inaccessible. I was uncomfortable being asked to submit highly sensitive identification documents through a third-party portal without a clear explanation of why the previous verification methods were insufficient or how my data would be stored, protected, and deleted.

In my view, a company should not make it easy to deposit funds but significantly more difficult to withdraw them. Consumers should carefully review Rocket Money's verification and privacy practices before entrusting the platform with their money and personal information.

I have never been good at saving money. But with Rocket Money, I'm saving money weekly. In just a few months I saved over 2K to pay off my debt. My credit score has steadily gone up too. Rocket Money is easy to use with excellent customer service. My withdrawal was delayed and I reached out to customer service via the bot. I was quickly connected to a human who was smart and new her business. They gave understandable advice and the problem was solved. Thank you, Rocket Money!

Don’t use their savings account you will NOT get your money back I’ve attempted to have money out back into my account and making all sorts of excuses for 3 weeks now

RocketMoney cancelled the wrong subscription.

When I tried to use chat feature, all employees are out for multiple days for an annual meeting and the AI assistant told me I likely did it wrong, which I didn't.

Also, the duplicate netflix subscription was hard to find because it was in the inactive catagory although it showed it being paid currently.

Don't waste your time connecting all your accounts for this pile of rubish.

Impossible to quit. I've had it for two years and haven't used it once. I try to quit. They've sent me through a byzantine process involving my ID and all sorts of other information. Just stop taking my money you hypocrites. I originally downloaded your app to get rid of leaches JUST LIKE YOU.

Signed up for free trial. I believe I have a good grasp on my finances but I was curious if I was missing anything. Turns out not really. I know what I'm all spending my money on and where I can cut. One feature I didn't know about was the subscription negotiating that rocket money does. They found a subscription I had they felt they could reduce. So I let them try as I've already tried on my own with no luck. A very short time later I had a notification from the subscription company that they've received my order. Shortly after that, rocket money sent an email saying they reduced my monthly bill by $40 per month. Rocket Money does take a percentage of the savings they get you so that number is a little hard to swallow considering I'm utilizing the service to save money and paying a monthly fee already. They allow you to split that fee into some different payment plans so it works out. If all I can get from this service is the reduction in subscription fees every couple of years, I'd say it's worth it.

You give Rocket Money a TON of personal information and a lot of trust. So how is it that you will use that information ILLEGALLY.

I asked for Rocket money to lower my ATT bills. 45 minutes after hitting the go button on that, ATT calls me, asks to verify me and sends me several messages and emails to ENSURE I am the real customer because on a second line is someone impersonating me, cursing out the ATT reps and just repeatedly saying "I need my bill cheaper"

Why would I give you information to help me, so you could use it illegally, impersonate me, then curse out agents while acting like me.

"Negotiate on your behalf" does not give the right to impersonate and then make me look like a jerk

I have an account with this service, and am paying into a service I can't access. They have no phone number, don't respond to email.
