When asked why an item was incorrectly priced, the manager was extremely rude.

This happened to me yesterday at Roses at Pendleton Pike.

I need to preface this with the fact that I am a 65 year old female on Disability with SLE lupus, stage 3 kidney disease and fighting breast cancer. I am also a colon cancer survivor. I was struck with this 2 years after my husband, IMPD Officer Hascall Shaffer passed away from kidney cancer. We were married for 30 years.

I was about to leave Roses when I was approached by a short White female and a tall, skinny very young Black female. The White female had an arm full of hair care products. She said to me in a very loud and nasty tone, 'Ma'am, we were told by a customer you put your finger in everyone of these products!!! I told her I did not and she said, 'There's finger prints in everyone of these!!!.' I told her I absolutely did not. I asked her to play the video tape. I want to see the video taoe. I told her yes, I used the green can, the white spray bottle and chose the red one.' She said, 'A customer approached me and told me you did it! Two different customers. I told her I did not and the video tape can prove it! I didn't get a chance to tell her I worked Loss Prevention in Sears for years and I worked Methodist Security for 15 years. As a matter of fact, I was a Lead Dispatcher and I worked the camera room. Evidence is everything BUT instead she humiliated me so badly. I was ashamed and left the store.

As far as me stinking my finger in each item, please hold onto it. I want a finger print sample, I will give mine. I promise you it will NOT be a match. I do remember a tall Black female and a light skinned older female watching me after I spritzzed my hair. Then the tall Black female followed me all over the store. She kept looking at me with a smirking look in her eyes.

As I was driving home I thought, no! I did not do that! The video tape will prove it so ai decided to go back to the store. I recorded on video how I was treated!

When I entered, I asked to speak to the manager. A tall White female approached me. I introduced myself and asked her if she can PLEASE review the video. I have our interaction on my camera phone because I recorded that too. Again, I did not tell her my history as Security at Methodist Hospital for 15 ywa4s and ex-cop's wife. My deceased husband, Officer Hascall Shaffer, North District for 18 years. The female, name unknown said she'll be right back and left because I asked her to review the video. I was under the impression she would do that.

I sat for quit and while and asked for her again. I asked her if she watched the video? She got nasty and said, 'I'm busy!!! I don't have time! Also, why would a customer l... two different customers approach me and say you did it?'. All I could say was please watch the video. I got upset because she refused so I left.

When I was leaving the store, a worker, a young Black female was smiling, and yelled across the parking lot smiling at me and said, ' Don't come back!!!.'

I am so shook up. So distraught. So humiliated. Soooooo...EVERTHING and I want the entire FB to know how I was treated! This is NOT RIGHT! NOT RIGHT AT ALL!

This store is located in Washington, Ga. It's called Maxway (Roses Discount Stores) located in the Washington Plaza. Wednesday's is senior day everything is 10% off, they have great items at great prices. This is a busy little store in the Washington, Ga area. We visit this store on average once or twice a week and always find great deals. The employees are super nice, they will help you in any way possible. Clothes, snacks, electronics, wall decor, etc. Great place for great deals.
