I ordered a gold bracelet and when I opened the package it felt like copper. I have gone to RS for YEARS and this was the worst of the worst. I truly believe it wasn't real gold or diamonds and I will never shop there again.

I have ordered several times and always been pleased. However, I recently ordered the 2 k lab created earring gold over silver earrings. The stones are flat blobs of green and have no "sparkle" or light as shown in photos. Disappointing.

I purchased an anniversary band from this company and have had it less than a year. During this year, two of the stones have been lost. They simply fell out, and I was not aware until I took the ring off one night. I won't be purchasing another piece of jewelry from this company.
UPDATE:
I followed the advice from the seller, calling the number that was provided. Nonetheless. I was told that because i had purchased the ring over a year ago, approximately 15 months, there was nothing that they could offer me, ie repair or replace the ring. I simply wanted to wear the ring, and repair was not offered. It is not an expensive piece of jewelry, but I did like the piece when paired with my wedding set. I would have used gorilla glue if I had known where the stones had fallen out.
Moral of the review....personally, I won't purchase any other jewelry from this store/site. I don't like to give a bad review, but the ring was not a well constructed piece.

DO NOT use. I purchesed a braclet. When received the clasp was broken, they isssued a return slip. Sent the product back, now they are refusing to fix, repalce or isses a credit. I was told to take it up with the credit card company. So they have my product and are refusing to help in any way.

I have no idea why, 2- years later, I made another order from Ross Simons! As in the past: when I recieved the items they bore no resemblance to online photos. The two bracelets &, especially, te snake ring cannot POSSIBLY be mistaken for real or classy fake. They are overpriced, clearly fake, GARBAGE! Would not wear to put out the trash. This is DEFINITELY the last time I deal with this merchant! Their online & catalogue photos look good. In real life: obviously fake overpriced crap! Can do better on Amazon!

ok-hubby got beautiful 3 Carat Mined diamond bangle tennis bracelet 14KT. less than 3 months after purchase it literally fell apart-a link came apart and thankfully i noticed it on floor. Contacted Ross-Simons-was told OMG we will absolutely take care of this. They sent UPS to pick it up for repair. 3 weeks later repaired bracelet shipped to me-within half hour of wearing it at home-the repaired link fell apart yet again. Contacted them immediately-now being told they never should have acceepted the bracelet and repaired it-i should have filed claim w Extend warranty..??? Extends states i must file claim online and they will review if they will cover this issue and repair it.... i have to wait 2-5 days for them to decide if they will accept this???? Spoke w Jenny,Supervisor Ross Simons-told they never should have repaired it and they cant help-Extend warranty is the party that will decide...almost $3000 for horrible service. This appears to be manufacturers defect-maybe this is why they no longer carry this item. I am concerned another repair will cause same issue and next time i may lose it???

My husband purchased 2 rings for me last year for Christmas. One was a "topaz" and "pearl" ring. I noticed yesterday that the pearl was twisting on the post, then came off. I could tell that the pearl is NOT real. The skin that covers fake pearls had peeled away. Not to mention the tell-tale sign of fake pearls, it was smooth, not gritty. I reached out to Ross Simon to request a refund. They said they would not refund because it was past 30 days since purchase. Since my pearl wasn't kind enough to come off within 30 days, my only recourse is to send it back for repair, meaning they will glue the fake pearl back onto the ring. Because I am now concerned about the authenticity of their products (if they'd fake a pearl, why not precious stones!?), I opted to return a "diamond" ring that is a cherished Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I purchased another ring last year, as well, authenticity of stones is now questionable at best. Of course, I cannot return that one either. NOTE: small stones have started to fall out of it.

The quality of the product was poor. In addition I had them bill it through Affirm. They billed an amount higher than the invoice without explanation. I returned the item due to the poor quality and received a confirmation showing the refund for the original amount agreed upon, less a $4.95 shipping fee. However, Affirm showed a refund for a lesser amount leaving me paying more that the $4.95. This company's accounting practices are a mess. Steer clear.

Was nervous about purchasing a chain from this company as it was a big investment and emailed them and they promised me their chains are of high quality. Chain broke after only a few wears due to their poor quality. Unreliable and probably hollowed. I emailed them back and let them know and they said this was not a ‘known issue’. Probably a lie as I’m sure many people have had this negative experiences with these poorly crafted and hollowed out chains. Would not recommend.

It’s highly offensive that you would suggest that my bench jeweler of 25 years experience did something to damage the piece after selling me a low quality hollowed out chain that breaks after several wears. For anyone out there shopping for gold chains it’s important to look at both the gram weight and also ask the seller if their chain is hollowed. As you may notice the chain sold by Ross Simon’s is only 1 gram, indicating it’s likely hollowed (and these types of chains will break), while similar chains of the same length and size sold by other retailers weigh 3-4 grams and are solid. Do your research and buy a quality chain. Do not buy from Ross Simons.

I ordered a bracelet for my daughter; got the confirmation email. Today, on Christmas, my daughter didn't get anything from Ross Simons. I talked to customer service - they said the order was cancelled, but failed to notify me. In their words "We do not typically notify once an order fails verification." The customer has no way of knowing their order was cancelled. A ridiculous policy and I will not be doing future business with this firm. I hope you won't as well.
Reply to Vendor's Reply: An innocuous response that didn't address the issue. I ordered a $600 bracelet for my daughter, who lives in another state. The cc address didn't match the shipping address, and RS cancelled the order without notifying me. If the two addresses don't match, the order should have failed immediately, and I would have been notified immediately. Instead, it failed with no notification - I asked my daughter on Christmas how she liked her bracelet. Her response was "What bracelet?"

This a general review of my experience over years of doing business with Ross Simons. Overall, I have been pleased with the service and quality of their pieces, as well as the beautiful designs. However, that having been said, many, many times I am surprised at the size of a piece I receive. I know thee are size descriptions in the description of each piece, however, it is extremely hard to picture in your mind how big that is going to be, especially the three dimensional size. Recently, I ordered charms for bracelets or necklaces, and while the pieces are well made and attractive, they are much, much smaller in size than the picture of the item portrays. I am very disappointed. I truly believe they manipulate the pictures to make the items look larger than they really are.
