An utter disaster, from start to finish
Hello, person reading this review. Have you never heard of Royal United before either? Are your credit cards nearly maxed out? Are you poor and desperate while also somehow owning your home? Did you figure that taking out an equity home loan would fix all your problems?
There's a reason why you've never heard of Royal United. They're con men, through and though. They'll string you along, make you jump through hoop after hoop, only to hit you with some insane demand again.
For me, it was the insane 600 appraisal fee. I called around. The big companies don't do that appraisal fee. Nor do they ask you insanely personal questions that invade your privacy. They have the common courtesy to at least deny you to your face instead of slapping you with an email a few days later after all the running around you did for them.
They forced me to ruin my credit even further, and for that I can never forgive them. Never choose this company for anything. Only recommend them to your enemies. That's how vile these monsters are. I wish this website could let me give a 0 star review after everything they've put me through.
tl;dr- If you're poor, don't bother. If your house isn't absolutely perfect, don't bother. That royal in their name isn't for nothing. They don't care at all about poor people. Oh, and I didn't even mention how pushy they are.
