Bank with no thought process . I have applied for a car loan based for Tesla as they have tied up with Tesla for an offer of 0% interest & when you apply they reject the application & tell reason cannot be provided. other bank in Denmark are offering the loan & this only bank has no issue & cannot tell customer why.

Absolute joke. They took extra payments out bank for car without my knowledge when phoned up to speak to them was promised a refund which would take 5 working days. 14 working days later still no money returned to me. So another 45minute hold later to be told that it has be authorised and they have no idea why it’s taken so long. Screenshots to prove chats etc thieves.

Unprofessional Bank?
Poor customer care.
Waiting 60+ minutes online to talk to someone; how is this possible from an institution with which you have to do big monetary deals spanning 8 years?
Also their email wrongly states the opening hours are 10-15 when, on the call, you find out it's 11-15 - unprofessional - this is a bank not a cookie shop!

Don’t trust SANTANDER
They have never been helpful in person. Only costumer phone that sends you to the local branch.
We got miss sold when we took a house mortage in 2015 to purchase our home
We didn’t get a mortgage unless we signed up for a life insurance and house insurance with you
Then we got told we needed two so we paid..
I head read that to get the mortgage rate we only needed 1 life insurance
Got told if we wanted the mortgage we had to do so. Massive misconduct and treated by the local branch if I wanted to keep the house I had to keep paying. I have been locked out of my house since 2023 and have had no help or home but still I am the main holder so I have not been able to get any more loans. Here I am with no funds to purchase a car! Getting text messages that has given me massive stress as my soon to be x husband is paying in cash ? I have not done anything as will I as a mother see my son be able to stay in his home. I will definitely not recommend you!
Brilliant customer service
Brilliant customer service for starting savings accounts and financial advice. Colleague spent an hour on the phone after I rang to change my address (She advised not to as would affect my credit score as I'm at a temporary address and would be moving again in a couple of months). She then helped me understand how savings accounts work, how they create interest and helped me open a fixed-term, an easy access and a holiday fund. Painless and excellent.

Painless !! Thank you Santander. With serious trepidation I moved my current account to Santander. The thoughts of changing my DDs and SOs, payments in etc was worrying, it can all go so wrong. But it didn't! They did it all for me, wrote me Emails explaining the process and when I phoned them they answered my call. Shock horror! A real person to speak to! Thank you!

Was sold a faulty car by cinch. Santander provided the finance. Santander have not yet rejected the vehicle even though I have sent proof that the issue has remained for 18 months and been in the garage 6 times. I want to reject the vehicle and Santander sitting on my complaint and not letting me return the vehicle. Waste of time and money. Do not use this company to finance your car!!!!

I don’t bank with Santander, I am only a client because they bought the mortgage company (Alliance @ Leicester) of which I was a client.
Now they send me unsolicited promotions, like a ‘free prize draw’, to which I am not eligible!
Do they do it just to annoy me?
Maybe they do it to try to attract me as a customer? If so it has no chance of success as I already bank with the best there is, Nationwide!

Rude and Ignorant phone support after threatening letters
A very rude, ignorant person on the phone, who refused to answer our questions. Plus we were sent repeated aggressive, threatening letters after we had submitted the requested information, that, according to customer care on the phone, no one had read! Then a 38-minute wait on the phone to talk to the appropriate department.

My 123 account ceased to exist
My 123 account ceased to exist, moved to edge online took 10 mins,partner tried finished up having to phone,took 45 mins after been passed from one associate to another.
Put on hold reporting a fraud
Hopeless customer service. Call the helpline on fraud to be put on hold for 15 minutes and no option for a callback.
App doesn't allow you to report a transaction for fraud. Just says can't perform that request...

Santander has LIED about it's explicit…
Santander has LIED about it's explicit guarantee of free banking for life. Total disregard of trust and fairness, attempting to hide behind vague general terms whilst ignoring specific terms promised. The complaints team do not show any knowledge of financial regulations that provide for fair treatment of customers and made no effort to resolve the issue. Santander have lost any credibility as a bank that cares about customers or its own reputation.

consumer finance, bought a car through these guys and the engine blew up after 10 months, the car is a 17 plate and not many miles on the clock, they refuse to help me, expect me to keep paying the finance but will not investigate further or help me when I contact them.

Profoundly unethical company
This is an unethical company who will unashamedly attempt to rob you in broad day light after your leasing is over. The customer service (including their manager) are irrational and discriminative. I would advise anyone with any respect or dignify to themselves and their money to stay very far away from making any dealings with Santander.
