Website isn't horrible
Website isn't horrible, it's just slow. Please add a dark mode because the color white hurts my eyes
Keeps getting better
We use the software every day and it just keeps getting better!
Schoology is an absolute mess
Schoology is an absolute mess for students due to its clunky, slow interface, its inability to allow student preferences and settings, and its unreliable turn-in rate makes it a disaster for students and busy teachers alike.
So glitchy and no dark mode
Half the time you have to submit your assignments 2-4 times because it "can't read the file". Bruh it's a pdf the f do you mean and even though I don't change anything it works on like the third try. Also, there is no dark mode so you have to look at this bright ahh light when you are doing homework, you can't view assignment info from the mobile app like you can on the website, and sometimes it just doesn't work. Everyone in the school agrees ts is buns, including the teachers.
it sucks and I hate it
So bad, stay away!
This is a nightmare from the student and parent perspective. Stay away and choose a lms with a better user experience.
Grading in Schoology
At this point, it is way beyond the time when schoology should offer corrections of grammar so that the teacher does not have to do it. In the grading view, grammar corrections should appear so the teacher can approve them and allow the kids to see them. Google does it, for goodness' sake. Why pay for schoology if google does it for free?
SPAM and suspicious behavior
Schoology repeatedly sends emails, yet makes it absolutely impossible to unsubscribe or make changes. I have bonafide proof of this, as recently as yesterday. Schoology uses a "no reply" email address. Schoology attempts to get you to connect them to your private Microsoft account, and I indeed have bonafide proof of this, as recently as yesterday. Do Not trust Schoology because they continue to send SPAM, make unsubscribe impossible, and seek Microsoft access. I have bonafide proof of every word in this review. My experience with them yesterday is not the first time I faced these challenges. Thus, it is a repeated and systemic behavior.
Schoology is fine
Schoology isn't in the fault of all reviews. The only reason it isn't is because it helps us access all apps. I also like how teachers can post updates on the main page, you can check your grades but it is hard to navigate. Google classroom is better, but I got tired of the boring google classroom design. 3 stars.
go back to Google classroom
ehhh its ok but Google classroom was way better and easier to navigate. its so stupid.
Schoology is ok...
Schoology isn't good nor bad just boring. They seriously needs to make it more fun because right now its mid maybe add a game or something but the website is good and it has a good concept but its just boring and mid.

Schoology has been nothing short of a…
Schoology has been nothing short of a nightmare to navigate. From its clunky interface to its confusing layout, using Schoology feels like being lost in a maze with no way out. The user experience is abysmal, with pages taking ages to load and assignments disappearing into the digital abyss. Trying to find important information feels like searching for a needle in a haystack, and the constant glitches and errors only add to the frustration. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Schoology if you value your sanity.

Not user friendly when the webiste crashes! I do not know who in their mind switched schoology to google classroom. Schoology causes so many problems and does not notify you if you are missing or late on work.

I do not know why virginia schools switched from google classroom to schoology. Its very laggy and not user friendly. Why doesnt it inform you on past assignment? why is it always logging you out? and WHY does it keep giving students error codes when accessing assignments. Even the teachers hate crappy schoology. And after 2 years of using it there are still ISSUES. please do NOT use this.
Left high and dry
I have been a paid solo account user of PowerSchool Learning for many years and would've been happy to continue paying through Covid when they took away the fee. Without warning, the resources I have stored and organized with PSL became inaccessible on Dec 2nd, 2022. I am now aware that PowerSchool Learning has transitioned into the Schoology platform, and apparently there is no consideration for prior users. I've tried calling and emailing every support number I could find. Each rep passes me to someone new or simply doesn't respond.
I'm Going to be Very Honest...
It's kinda great but I have a suggestion, Add the Report Card Feature.
Overall, a Great App for School
I have been using Schoology since the early stages of elementary school. Since then, Schoology has evolved and is honestly an excellent source for any school. It is a great way to push out assignments to students, provide updates for the following days/weeks, and keep track of grades. Coming from a student's point of view, I prefer Schoology over paper & pencil to some extent. Assignments can be done with much more ease, and there can be updates given electronically by teachers instead of a flyer sent home. Schoology does have its glitchy days and does not work to max capacity as it usually does, which is why I give it four stars. But I would recommend Schoology to any school to use as their primary platform.
Great service, but terrible mobile app design.
My school started using this service earlier in COVID-19, it was easy to use and easy to navigate and my teachers enjoyed using it as well. I decided to download the mobile app for easy access during the day, after opening the app I realized the UI design is hard to navigate and hard to use. Would give 5 stars if the mobile design was re-designed.
