My husband has tried to book through this company. If you like dealing with inept service this is it. They do not answer the phone, emails take forever to be responded to. No idea how they can be recommended as a third party by the likes of JL, Mamas and Papas.

Also they charge double the going rate...if you like being ripped off, this is it

The customer journey was easy and smooth from start to finish.
I made an enquiry online for a quote to build a 3 piece nursery set. I was contacted shortly after by email to provide a link to the item, which I did.
The quote came through and I was happy with the fixed price including VAT of £195.
While some may say this is expensive, let me tell you it takes the stress out of building it yourself and you know it's done right.
Booking was done, with payment in advance. Operative turned up the next day, a polite man called John. Can't thank him enough for his quick and tidy work.
Highly recommend.

Product was a Marcy Recumbant Exercise Bike ME-709. The engineer (Gareth, not the same Gareth as me though!) turned up at the arranged time and was friendly and professional. The bike was set up quickly and well, and Gareth showed me how to use and adjust it correctly. Gareth even noticed the product's own documentation had mis-numbered a component (number 13, a hex head not a round head), and ensured that the bike was assembled correctly despite this. Service was excellent, much appreciated!

I didn't read the reviews for Screwdriver before I booked in with them as they are recommended by Mamas & Papas on their website - and I'm glad I didn't as the service was nothing short of exceptional. I called yesterday and they booked me in for today, the booking process was immensely easy, and the lovely chap they sent called Gareth was wonderful. Very prompt, super efficient and mega tidy. Not only did he bag up all the packaging waste and very neatly fold all the cardboard for us, but he was so careful in our nursery as he recognised that it had just been painted.

The price was quite expensive - £195 for three large items - but for the time, energy and stress it saved me, every penny was worth it.

Couldn't recommend Screwdriver enough - and thank you for saving me from a mega furniture building job!!

All the prices on their web are basically a lie. I did an enquiry how much will be to assembly my wardrobe (nothing complicated just two door sliding wardrobe) and they gave a quote of £258!!!! They are saying that it takes aprox 90 min to assembly a wardrobe so that means they will be earning about £200/hour. It's a joke. For this money I could buy another wardrobe.
I agree also that their customer service is not great. When I asked why is so expensive as on web on your it says something different I got a reply "This a fixed price for the wardrobe".

We had a very positive experience right from my initial email requesting a quote. The response was swift and clear and a fitter was booked to come within a couple of days.
John arrived to assemble a children's wardrobe and playshelf in our daughters nursery. He was very professional and did a really terrific job. Very pleased with the service.

Awful, awful customer service from someone called “Angela”. This doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Asking questions should be accepted since the quote I was given was an exorbitant amount. The customer service rep resorted to snark and a strange attitude. I would’ve gone ahead and booked the full price if there was a level of professionalism present.

Avoid at all costs. I opted for a friendlier service with professionals.

Bought a cot from Mamas & Papas and for some reason this is their recommended assembly company. Called for several days with no answer to book. I even left a message which wasn’t returned. Called M&P to complain and only then did someone call me, saying it would be almost £75 to assemble (expensive!!) and guaranteeing he’d call me back following my delivery to book a slot. No surprise that I didn’t get a call back. So unreliable and untrustworthy. I’ve escalated this with M&P too.

Installation of Fitness Superstore gym equipment booked for a Thursday between 10:00 & 11:00 but ‘engineer’ did not turn up.

We contacted the Screwdriver office on Thursday pm and found the office had booked the visit for Friday even though they confirmed having told us Thursday.

‘Engineer’ arrived at 09:10 instead of between 10:00 & 11:00. Rushed installation left an important wire not connected which meant the heart monitoring handgrips did not work causing us further problems to resolve.

FIRST TIME THEY BROKE A CUPBOARD DOOR IN ASSEMBLY AND NOW IVE REALISED, AFTER SOME TIME, THAT THE HEAVY MATTRESS ON MY BED WASNT SAGGING IT WAS THE SCREWDRIVER FOOL THAT ASSEMBLED MY BED WRONG

THERES A REASON THESE GUYS DO UNSKILLED MANUAL WORK! THEY CANT DO MUCH ELSE!!!

Poor experience. Unpleasant staff and service. Will not use again.

Our engineer Richard advised us of the time he would be with us and then updated us with a more accurate time. He installed the treadmill very quickly and was very polite and friendly. Very happy with the service I received.

I had a Cross Trainer delivered and was unable to unbox and assemble myself. Screwdriver were engaged via the online store I purchased the trainer from to assemble the kit. They arrived when they said, were clean and tidy with the assembly and were knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with.

All done in well under an hour, thanks Darrell top job!!
