From start to finish, this vompany has been brilliant. Having given me a quote for 3 windows and a door which was very reasonanle, there was no pressure. We arranged a date, they were bang on time and worked hard and fast doing a great job. They made everything neat and tidy, clearing everything away after. The lads were cheerful, friendly and professional. I would recommend this firm without hesitation. 5 stars well deserved.

We recently had 5 windows installed in a property we had just acquired.
From first contact Riz was excellent describing products with obvious experience and passion and getting the best competitive deal whilst ensuring quality.
The installers were excellent respectful of the property and cleaned up after themselves.
I arranged for my mum to have a door installed at her property on the back of my experience.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Secured Homes Windows and Doors Ltd following a cold-call doorstep sales visit.

During a lengthy in-home sales appointment, a deposit of £2,467 was taken. We later raised concerns and requested cancellation and a refund of the deposit, but the company has refused to return the money and has not provided a full itemised breakdown of costs or clear documentation.

We were told a “take back scheme” discount had been applied, however the final price quoted was still over £13,000 for a small three-bedroom terrace property, even after a discount of approximately £2,600. We feel the pricing was not clearly or transparently explained at the point of sale.

We have also sought advice from Citizens Advice, who confirmed that the windows are standard-sized and not bespoke, as similar properties in the area have the same style of windows. This is relevant to cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

We also believe the pricing was significantly higher than comparable market prices, and this was not properly explained or broken down during the sales process.

This situation has been particularly distressing as the contract was entered into by my elderly mother, who is a carer for her husband suffering with advanced dementia, making the circumstances especially difficult for the family.

Overall, we feel there has been a lack of transparency, refusal to resolve the matter fairly, and poor handling of what began as a doorstep cold-call sale.

We would strongly advise others to ensure they receive a full written itemised quotation and clear documentation before agreeing to anything, and to proceed with caution.

The service was great. From the first contact, day of survey and today when the work was completed.

The team who replaced my windows and doors were professional, friendly and efficient, and at all stages I was kept informed, which was much appreciated. A couple of problems arose (completely beyond Secured Homes control) and were dealt with very professionally. The service was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the end product is excellent in every way. I would certainly recommend them, and if the need arose would use them again.

The fitters turned up early and got to work immediately they brought dust covers that covered all the areas to protect the carpets and floors and did a really great job, when they finished fitting the windows they cleaned up both inside and outside the house. All in all they did a really professional job and I would gladly recommend this company to anyone.

Pushy sales people. Won't quote without both myself and my partner present.
Asking me if I plan to have it done, wouldn't know without a quote which they won't do.
Also now ring me every month, asking the same questions which my answers don't change. I've asked to not be called but guess that doesn't matter.
