Established in 1994, Sensory Integration Education is a not-for-profit organisation working with allied health professionals, education and health experts, academic researchers and families to improve awareness, understanding and the treatment of sensory integration and sensory processing difficulties.
We do all this using the proven framework of Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy. For over 30 years and in over 100 countries, we have trained those who work with and care for people with sensory challenges. We support and disseminate research into Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy.
Our MSc in Sensory Integration pathway, delivering SI Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner status, was the world’s first postgraduate qualification in SI accredited by a UK university. Comprehensive but accessible courses
Really simple to sign up for courses. The SI Facilitator course was thorough but accessible and gave a great foundation into the science behind sensory integration. The real-world case studies and strategies were were varied and showed how we could apply our knowledge in various settings. It felt like a very holistic, inclusive and person-led approach to sensory integration.
In terms of course admin, the course was easily to follow and worked on mobile devices. There was a small issue with one of the quizzes, but this was resolved promptly after a quick message on the forum. I didn't use the drop in sessions but I'm sure they'd be a valuable resource. There are lots of great free resources on the website too. I feel much more confident when discussing sensory integration with clients and would recommend this course to anyone looking to expand and apply their knowledge base.

When parents are coerced to be therapists themselves
Honestly, this is my first encounter with such kind of knowledge as to sensory integration. It's quite insightful to me, because I have a serious case to deal with at home personally. In my city in Morocco, practitioners are rather fake, as they lack in similar expertise as yours. My kid has benefited nothing from them. Although this is not my field, I have decided to engage in such trainings myself in order to help my kid. My experience is definitely successful. I got precious information on the relationship between brain, cognition and behaviour. I do appreciate your service. Best of luck to the whole staff.
