Central heating repair

A difficult situation was made so much better due to the kind and efficient way Britney dealt with the issue my disabled 94yr old Dad had with his heating. Although the works weren't covered by the policy we were given a quote to sort the issue out quickly and someone arrived quickly to get the heating back on.

Incredibly well managed through my insurance company! Eesha and her manager who sadly cannot remember her name were able to update the insurance company quickly and then also assist on a direct basis. I would highly recommend

Really disappointed in the service

Really disappointed in the service. They came out to fix no heating but it turned out the job required was a power flush which wasn’t covered by insurance.The engineer was great and said he would get me a quote. Despite my chasing I have been left with no heating and no quote for 2 weeks. After chasing again they now tell me they are not covering my area anymore even though it shows on their map they do. As I am a vulnerable person and considering their mistake of not telling me for 2 weeks I asked them to reconsider but they said no. Terrible customer service I feel totally let down and still cold.

I would like to leave 0 review but couldn’t! Outrageous service - over 5 weeks now and you are leaving a 94 year old relative without any heating! Between you and Homeserve, neither of you are taking ownership & just passing the buck. The weather is changing and yet you still leave an elderly customer without any heating! Will contact the local paper too to get this aired.

Annual renewal - 77% increase with Homeserve

Just got the annual renewal through following SES Home Services transferring the business to Homeserve - 77% increase in premium. Spoke to 2 people who told me it's because their "standard pricing" is different to SES!! Slight discount offered, but a 50% increase in premium in the current economic climate is a complete ripoff. Look elsewhere

Cold Water Stop Cock Issue…

Southern Water are investigating my water meter issue, but were unable to close the cold water stop cock, so I was able to call SES Home Services. I was most fortunate that Sam Polak arrived, having previously fixed another plumbing issue. He was able to resolve the issue immediately. A most skilled, friendly, helpful and kind plumber - the very best available as he's best described as Masterful and Sublime ! Thanks so very much Sam

From the time I made first phone call about possible leak everyone was very helpful ,today Zack and Marcus came and fixed leak,no easy job as I live in a parkhome so they had to crawl around underneath to get it fixed would like to say thank you all at ses

SES Home services GREAT, change to HOMESERVE not so great

Have been with SES Home services for years for boiler cover, In short great service and great insurance cover

SES have this year passed parts of the business to HOMESERVE and today was the first new HOMESERVE experience

1) Booking a boiler engineer for a faulty boiler, I was passed to THREE different depts, I was questioned at length about the type of boiler , the fault , what I'd tried and then if the fault was even covered and and if engineer should be called out

2) On the positive 2 engineers arrived same day

3) They have identified the problem, but for the first time in all the years with SES they are now having a discussion IF the fault is covered or not (still to be decided)

Apparently its going to take 11 days to decide if Im covered or not, before a repair can take place.

To be clear, great couple of engineers and really happy with them being here.
But does feel like something has changed for the worse with the move to HOMESERVE. Waiting to be proved wrong as a loyal customer

05/06/2024 - Update, so today I've had to raise a formal complaint with Homeserve on how they have handled things since this original visit. I dont know how the relationship has changed between Homeserve and previously SES. But currently I would tell people NOT to buy a Homeserve boiler insurance product

Friendly efficient service

Sam from SES came today to change the washers on my Frankie kitchen swivel tap. Although I had to wait 3 weeks it didn’t matter. The tap was only dripping and was not urgent. Sam is a charming and friendly person with an amazing set of personal tools! The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I can thoroughly recommend Sam.

I had been with SES for a number of…

I had been with SES for a number of years. With a policy requiring renewal and a boiler service needing to be booked in i called customer services. Got passed from one department to another with no assistance. after over 2hrs on phone i gave up. People i spoke to did not listen and were just hopeless. The customer services experience was a complete waste of time which i did not appreciate at all. I will not be using this company again because if i cannot rely on their customer services to undertake basic tasks now i am not confident i will receive good service going forward. i went with another company that are brilliantly efficient at customer services, renewals, bookings and quality of work.

SES Home Services are brilliant

SES Home Services recently sorted out an emergency blocked waste pipe for me in Horsham on 10 January 2024.



The two gentlemen, Darryll and Kyle who did the work were outstanding. They communicated with me at every step showing me what their camera feed was indicating to them and all the possible scenarios that might occur.



The job involved moving the shed, removing patio slabs, doing lots of digging and replacing broken clay pipes.

Once the digging started, Darryll & Kyle were presented with various surprises and they kept me informed of all the decisions they were making involving me along the way.



They both worked so hard all day and made a very impressive team. When they had finished, everything was left in perfect condition. I consider myself very lucky to have had such talented engineers completing the work. They were also very friendly and courteous which is a lovely bonus.



This emergency had started a few days earlier when the blocked pipe was originally covered by my home emergency policy. Once it was discovered that broken pipes were the problem this then switched to the Building's insurance. This became very complicated and stressful for me until Brittany Mayes from SES phoned me and sorted out the situation by liaising with everyone involved. After Brittany's call I felt a great weight had been lifted off me and for the first time in several days was able to sit back and relax knowing I was being looked after. Brittany was amazing and I am very grateful for the competent way she organised everything.



Brittany, Kyle and Darryll are the best employees a company could wish for. They go above and beyond to provide a personal service

Home emergency leaking shower pump

SES were the company my insurance firm put me in contact with via my home emergency cover when I had water pouring through my ceiling due to faulty shower pump. From day one they kept me in the loop about what was happening and times they would be attending to rectify the problem. Pump fitted by engineers which then flagged another problem re hot water not working so they had to come back on numerous occasions and eventually fitted a new shower too. All engineers competent and friendly. Covered their shoes in the house. Particular mention to Brittany in the office who organised the whole thing and dealt with my queries in a friendly, knowledgeable manner. I even received follow up calls to ensure all was OK. A great asset to the SES team! All in all a smooth and professional process. Thank you.
