Needed to purchase shutters for mother as Xmas present contacted pre Xmas .They explained order could not be done in time for Xmas . On calling next to check stock for shutters was informed company closing down due to retirement .Had missed the last order date so unable to proceed,.The owner then contacted me to assure me the order if placed would be completed,which it has been .GOOD LUCK WITH RETIREMENT & thank you shutters are just the job .

I ordered composite shutters from Simply Shutters and was really happy with how easy everything was from the start. The ordering process and delivery went smoothly, and the shutters looked sturdy and well made.

There were a few problems with the finish when they first arrived, which was disappointing, but the company couldn’t have handled it better. They arranged collection straightaway, kept me updated, and were very open and honest about what had gone wrong. The shutters were properly sorted out and came back looking much better.
The shutters will look great when fitted. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company deals with them that matters, and Simply Shutters showed real integrity and care. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone thinking about getting shutters.

WOW I’ve not experienced customer service like this before. When they received my order they emailed back to confirm the size to make sure I knew how the shutters would fit. They kept me up to date with everything, even when the product needed for the shutters was delayed meaning I had to wait. I wanted ones you could paint as I wasn’t sure of the colours. Without asking they send me samples so I could decide what to do, followed up by an email explaining it to me. I could now order with confidence. Even after I received the order they still checked if everything was ok. I can’t wait to fit the shutters and add photos to this review. They are stunning and well manufactured.

Excellent customer service, extremely helpful and communicated very well, nothing was too much trouble. The doors are great quality at a very good price. So much better than the big name retailers.

The white Louvre doors are simply fabulous. Beautifully constructed and fully painted ready to use.
Other brands just supply primed doors, but painting must be a nightmare. Thankfully I spotted Simply Shutters Louvre doors. I am chuffed with my purchase.
Arrived next day, superbly packaged. Bravo.

Wanted a 78x19 open louvre door to use on a boiler cupboard I am building.

Couldn't source local as all seem to only do closed shutters.

Simply Shutters came up trumps with exactly what I needed well packaged and in prestine condition and ready primed so only needed two coats of satinwood paint.

We decided that decorative shutters would finish the look of our cottage and add to "street appeal".
We chose this company for several reasons, its a family uk based business, they would be easy to put up being a lightweight material and on the website, looked very much like wood without the hassle of having to paint and maintain them.
You do have to wait as the shutters are made to your specific measurements, so be patient but interesting to know, our money was not taken until the delivery day.
When checking the progress of our order, I spoke to Jill, who provided excellent customer service, very friendly too !
Its such a shame that I cant add a photo as we are so happy with our new look. As we hoped, the shutters do indeed look like wood, not difficult to put up and finish the country cottage look we were after.
Highly recommend.
