They charged me £79.99 for auto renewal. I've asked for the invoice, as one was not emailed to me. They refused. I was unable to login to my account as it "did not exist" and they were unable to help me.
I'll happily take this to court.
Seems legit but changed my browser defaults from google search to something called safe search that uses yahoo instead.
This is simply aggresive adware that attempts to trick you into setting Yahoo Search as the default.
Mcafee sends me spam mail in my inbox daily. Even if I block their mail I can't escape. It gives food for thought when what should provide security itself creates uncertainty. 😡

This product is quite dangerous. Dangerous not for the user of course. Dangerous for medium and little sites. I recently read an article describing a case where a siteadvisor assigned the wrong category to a site. Category from unwanted categories. As a result, links to this site began to removed from the cataloges and other sites. As a result, Google began to send less traffic to it and the luvfree site was actually destroyed after six months. So I strongly recommend that site owners periodically check which categories siteadvisor assigns to you.
Unlike MyWOT, their rating system is reliable so far. I installed their add-on to my browser and it's working very smooth and light. It doesn't bother you with pop-ups etc. I didn't see any biased rating so far.
