Andy the manager at the Highfield croston goes out of his way to help you in any way he's a really nice fella.keep up the good work And I just wanted to say he's the best manager that's been here.

I often dine at The Argosy Pub on Manor Rd in Derby, and have never ever been disappointed. Due to family circumstances I've had dinner there 3 times this week, and once again, was delighted with every meal. The service and venue as well as the food is amazing. 10/10 so thank you.

Every discount they offer routes you to the website to download the app and open an account.... once that headache is done the codes they offer dont work.

Doesnt promote repeat business or a great rep.... staff however are lovely, shame about the company

Bank Holiday Monday, went to the Moorland Burslem, a warm welcome as usual directed to the resevered table booked on line, ordered and served promptly by Natalie. Relaxing atmosphere. Booked a table for Thursday. Excellent meal.

A group of us go every Saturday before the football match…..arrived just after 10am and we were warmly welcomed by Joe. He took our order for bacon sandwiches which were great. Joe and the team are always friendly and welcoming and it is a great pub with good food and drink at reasonable prices. We always enjoy our visit.

ordered an 8 oz rump, theres no way it an 8 oz it was about the size of a small cheap burger i think staff at the pottery, treforest ind est are conning people, when the waitress brought it i said whats that i couldnt believe my eyes put in a complaint, all i had back was that everything comes prepacked im not happy at all

Went to nine giants sizzler last night .
Ordered at 6:33 food finally turned up at 19:20. The wife had two cocktails for £10 which were very nice, I had a can of diet coke and a glass with ice cubes the can was warm so I took some ice cubes out of the wife’s drink to make it cold.
I ordered fish and chips and an extra fish skin on fries. Asked the waitress for pepper and was given four little sachets my wife saw a pepper mill on a empty table next to us so she grabbed it, put my chips and fish, so I started eating the chips were like warm them I was ready to eat my fish so I picked up the mushy peas and the were stone cold, the fish was hot but tasteless the batter was nice. The wife ordered the chicken honey clutch burger , the brioche bun was over cooked and the was dry and tasteless,didn’t see a waitress to complain about anything.
I wouldn’t recommend or go there again

We use this pub quite regularly for evening meals as it is such a great bargain but today we thought we would try the carvery. A superb meal we had, the meat was excellent as with the choice of vegetables. We were a little worried as we never booked a table, when we arrived the restaurant was all but full lily enough a table was just being cleaned so we jumped in quick. They were tables outside but we like eating in. The prices are a bargain for the food you get.

The Treacle Mine Pub in Grays Essex, part of the Sizzling pub group, has become our go to pub. Food is great quality at a very reasonable price. Emma and her staff make you feel welcome. In our group we have 2 people with disabilities and the welcome they receive is brilliant. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and accepting of the needs. Thank you all, it is appreciated

Avoid like the plague. I bought a gift voucher, and the payment was declined. So I ordered another using a different card - both declined. Turned out the order hadn't been declined at all - both transactions went through. I contacted the company the same day to see about getting a refund on the second (unnecessary) transaction and still haven't had a response. Absolute rip-off.

York black bull! Staff great!!!I ordered a chicken curry! It was tasteless and horrible shameful charging people for crap !

Would give it no stars but not an option. Came to the pottery, nantgarw. Ordered 2 classic mixed grills because I like the sizzling on plate when it arrives to table they came not sizzling even when put vinegar on. chips cold and solid no fillin, onion rings cold and soggy,
Steak was like rubber. No staff came about to check how meals were.

16.07.2026. I have visited this venue.
Total spent for my stay there (around 7 hours) approximately 100 GBP.
Drinks consumed by me:
- 4 alcohol beers
- 6 "O" alcohol beers (Non Alcohol)
As you understand me it's ok for 7 hours period assuming that I eat a lot of different foods.
My stay:
- Few times I helps disabled pensioner to get in and out of pub (staff didn't care);
- 3 times cleared my table (staff was unprofessional;
- made many friends from different countries;
Around 23:30 one young girl (bartender) was very:: aggressive towards me (Christian) and my new friend from Kenya and refused to sell us Non Alcoholic drinks (absolutely wrong customer service)

They told me that I was aggressive, but I was expressive together with my Kenyan friend. We were in deep shock. I am international traveller and never experienced such a bad behaviour. I would never expected that from England. And more over:
- I don't recommend travellers from advanced EU countries visit this place;
- many other pubs in central London asking extortionate money for low quality food and poor customer serviçe;
-they forget The main customer service principle:
1. Client is always Right.
2. If you think differently- see the rule No 1.
This rule is strictly followed be the most EU countries (f.e. Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Netherlands, France, Finland, Luxembourg, Vatican

Later happened unbelievable:

- Manager Tony (Antonio) pushed me aside, grabbed my belongings including new iPhon 17 Max Pro for
1500 Euros) run outside the pub and threw all these to the pavement. Luckily my phone was Ok/ thanks to protection case/
Then I politely asked this bartender young girl to show her ID (previously I showed her mine) to me, she refused to do so... I was in shock... No comment...

P.S. Since this pub are managed by " Sizzling Pubs family, owned by Mitchels & Butlers) I strongly recommend to all travellers don't visit this branch...
Rather go to "Greene King" branch. There are many : of them in Central London.

Booked a table to eat and watch the football. So many staff but that has its own issues as nobody seemed to know what they were doing but polite. The food as what I expected not great, it came out within 10 mins, that has alarm bells for me. My steak was a ⅓ grizzle and fat the rest that was supposed to be sirloin was tough and barely chewable.
I did comment on their FB advert and they gave me a link to complaint procedure for Miller and Carter which is part of the group they belong to and it was unable to find the pub in which we ate.
At no point did any members of staff ask how the meal was. Even with the 40% offer discount it was not worth it.

No staff. Closing early on food. Empty tables not cleared. Flies everywhere. Only just refurbed. Shambles.

Went to The Springcroft in Glasgow. I haven't been here for a long time as we thought it had gone down in quality. Well I don't know what's happened more recently but everything was fantastic!! The food was SO good. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we had and will most definitely be back soon! A great night catching up with friends!

Use Maxwell in Loughborough excellant pub. But 2026 no aircon. Every one using the menu as a fan. Just been revamped so you would think aircon would have been fitted. Staff great food great. But dont recomend eating there when high temp. Feel sorry for staff working in then conditions

This is about ArmytAge Arms in Clifton, Brighouse. At the moment there is a lot of work being done on the outside of the building, but I think they should concentrate more on the inside and the food instead. We haven’t been since they changed the whole staff, and the food now is not good. The staff are slow in clearing and cleaning tables, not many customers any more. We overheard somebody saying “we’re not coming here any more “! The tables are horribly sticky and the furniture needs an update, full of hole in the upholstery. Cannot be recommended any more! 😡

Went to our local the Stanley in Huyton shocking been going for years never again.The worse food we have had in all the years going there,they forgot my youngest granddaughters meal all together so she had to eat on her own we had finished long before her meal came.The had a girl serving on the bar who looked like she had been taking drugs talking to a local she was swearing her head off and there were children at the bar with their parents waiting to be served. Ruined my wife's birthday treat never again since Steven as left its gone right down.
