Excellent Customer Experience at Group 1 Skoda Southend Thanks to Kieran!
We recently purchased our next family car from Group 1 Skoda Southend, and the entire experience was absolutely flawless, all thanks to Kieran. From the very beginning, Kieran was incredibly patient, taking the time to answer every single question and inquiry we had without ever making us feel rushed. No matter how many details we asked for, he greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly face every single time. His communication was top-tier all of our emails were answered promptly and professionally. Furthermore, he ensured the car was perfectly ready for us right on time, with absolutely everything we requested completed to the highest standard, including a brand-new MOT and full service. Kieran Seago is a true gentleman and an absolute credit to Group 1 Skoda Southend. If you are looking for a stress-free, welcoming, and highly professional car-buying experience, we cannot recommend him highly enough! Thank you, Kieran!
Absolutely 5 star service

5 star service from start to finish. Highly recommend the south end showrooms.
I was so pleased that i dropped him a thank you card and a gift as a token of my appreciation

Genuine skoda transverse roof rack
This review is for the genuine skoda transverse roofrack (enyaq). Please fire the person responsible for the design of the "simple" leverage system that is supposed to fix the roofrack to the roof bars. This system is the most frustating systems I have ever used on a roof rack. Please make this system more foolproof so simple consumers such as myself can also use this system.

Skoda EV - beware before you buy
We bought a Skoda Elroq in 2025, and the vehicle developed an air conditioning fault within its first year. Initially, the retailer could not offer an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, with the earliest available slot being 1.5 months away. Although we were eventually able to secure an earlier appointment, the issue could not be properly diagnosed and was ultimately resolved through a gas service.
The manufacturer recommends a gas service every two years, so we would not expect a new car to require one within its first year. The investigation and gas service were provided as a “goodwill gesture” and the case was closed without any clear explanation or evidence of what caused the fault. This gave the impression that responsibility for the failure somehow rested with us, despite the issue occurring in a nearly new vehicle.
While we appreciate that the problem was eventually resolved, we want to make prospective buyers aware of our experience. In our case, the warranty proved ineffective, and the vehicle experienced a significant fault within its first year of ownership.

Disappointing Experience Following Service at Marshall Skoda Milton Keynes
I visited Marshall Skoda Milton Keynes on 29 June for the scheduled service of the automatic transmission of my Skoda Superb. I arrived in the morning and spent the entire day at the dealership, as I understood that this service requires a considerable amount of time.
At around 4:00 pm, I was contacted and asked to collect my keys. However, I was disappointed that no one took the time to discuss the overall condition and health of my vehicle or provide any explanation about the work carried out and the general functioning of my car.
Instead, I was simply handed a few documents by a member of staff and told that my car was ready. I found this quite surprising, as I expected a proper handover and a brief discussion, especially after having the vehicle serviced at an authorised Skoda dealership.
A couple of days later, I received a call from Skoda Milton Keynes asking about my experience and whether I had been fully briefed. I explained that no one had provided me with any information about my vehicle. The lady I spoke with assured me that someone would contact me on the same day to go through the details. However, I have still not received any call or follow-up, and it has now been more than 10 days.
Overall, I found this experience extremely disappointing. After spending a significant amount of money on a service at an authorised dealership, I expected a much higher level of customer care and communication.

Life threatening structural failure on 30/03/2026—ignored by garages and insulted with a hamper by Skoda UK
I am writing this review to publicly expose the staggering lack of safety accountability, systemic gaslighting, and complete failure of a duty of care across the Skoda network—specifically Pulman Skoda Cramlington, Lookers Skoda Railway Street (Newcastle), and Skoda UK's corporate customer care.
For three years, I have battled back and forth with these dealerships regarding a chronic, dangerously dodgy gearbox on my 2023 Skoda Kamiq. Instead of acting like professionals and investigating the root cause, their default response was to call me a liar. I was aggressively pushed into a narrative of driver error, with staff claiming that the severe difficulty engaging gears was entirely down to my driving style. Even when I presented the car with a physically bent reverse gear selector—unmistakable, blindingly obvious proof of the extreme, unnatural force required just to operate a failing internal mechanism—they still had the audacity to fob me off, blame my driving, and protect their warranty metrics.
This institutional denial and refusal to take a customer seriously resulted in a terrifying, life threatening safety incident. On 28/03/2026, the structural ISOFIX bracket physically snapped and broke completely out of the vehicle frame. This catastrophic manufacturing failure occurred during normal use while my three year old son was secured in his correctly fitted Joie 360 seat.
Let me be entirely clear to the management teams at Pulman, Lookers, and senior executives at Skoda UK: a parent's driving style does not rip a solid steel safety mount out of a car's chassis. That is a critical structural failure that actively endangered my toddler’s life.
To make matters worse, the corporate handling of this nightmare has been disgusting. Throughout our email correspondence, Haleema Akbar from Skoda UK Case Management has treated a critical structural safety defect with sheer dismissal. Hiding behind corporate scripts, cold corporate deflection, and offering zero empathy to a terrified mother is morally bankrupt. To add absolute insult to injury, their idea of compensation and resolving a life threatening safety failure that endangered a child was to offer a hamper. A gift hamper does not fix a structurally defective vehicle or make up for years of negligence. They left a vulnerable family on a Motability lease driving a dangerous, unroadworthy vehicle for years because they were too defensive to admit a manufacturing fault.
I have now bypassed this toxic network entirely and officially logged a major vehicle safety defect report with the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) and filed a formal complaint with Motability Operations. If you value your family's safety and want to be treated with basic human decency, avoid Skoda UK and their dealerships at all costs. They do not care about you, they do not care about your children, and they will blame you and offer you a basket of food for their own dangerous failures.

Great service Leicester Skoda
We recently purchased a skoda Kamiq from Leicester Skoda and the service was absolutely brilliant, we were really looked after by Soraya and Dave the manager. They couldn't have done more to help us. The car is great and has been a happy edition to the garage. Would definitely recommend and buy again

Vindus Skoda, Bury St Edmunds
Vindus Skoda, in Bury St Edmunds is the Worst Skoda dealership in the UK, 1st of all was Richard the sales man who I told to send me a video of the Skoda Octavia VRS I wanted to buy, so he sends me a video of an excellent car highlighting kerb damage on the front right rim, but he didn't mention the 2 thumb size dents on Nearside rear pillar of the tailgate, until I paid the £2500 deposit and he sends the video of the damage, which I didn't receive. When my wife & son & I arrived to pick up the car after travelling 123 miles from Stratford upon Avon, we were greeted by Andy who was nice salesman who showed around the car and that's when we pointed out the damage, but Simon the dealership manager came over and was really Rude to All of Us, saying Take it or Leave, I'll give you your money back and you can be on your way , looking at us like we were 2nd class citizens. We decided to test drive the car and then we tried to Negotiate with Simon about the damage that would he be prepared to give half the money towards the repair of the damage, and after my wife pleaded with him, he gave us a measly £60, which is not enough to cover a scratch. In the end we decided, because we travelled 123 miles we were going take the car home or otherwise it would have been a wasted journey. I booked the car in to a Body Repair shop and the cheapest quote out of 3 was a staggering £450. My previous car was a Skoda Octavia from New bought from Rainham Skoda dealership where were treated properly like 1st class citizens. Anyone thinking of buying a car from Vindus Skoda dealership Beware, they are No better than a a Back street car dealership or a Dodgy private seller.

Found a car I was interested in and made contact with Barlow Motors Skoda sales executive Jonathan Baddeley who went over and above to get the deal done and came up to Perth in Scotland on his day off to deliver the car to me I travelled down from the north of Scotland absolutely fantastic service keep up the good work Jonny it was a pleasure meeting you in person thanks again. John Miller Scotland.
Really easy to organize:
Great car. Great expirience overrall after 7 years working with them. Jakob from Skoda Amager was really helpful I had to return my old car and get the new so he helped me to synchronize the delivery of new car with the return of the old. Now i can enjoy my travel through europe and not think about nothing.

I recently purchased a Škoda Elroq from Škoda Gladsaxe and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The test drive experience was excellent. The offer was transparent and well-explained. From the very first visit, the team made me feel welcome and listened carefully to what I was looking for. The staff made great personalised suggestions. Delivery was smooth and on schedule. The whole journey — from test drive to driving away in my new car — was genuinely enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Škoda Gladsaxe to anyone looking for a new car.

Attention to maintenance is very important, but it is more important to know where to put your trust and where to maintain the car .. I think this is the perfect place for that . Everything is as it should be

I am extremely disappointed with the way service
I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service my husband and I received at **Škoda Auto Tunbridge Wells**. We visited the showroom today with genuine interest in purchasing a new car, prepared to spend around £30,000, and left feeling completely ignored and undervalued as potential customers.
From the moment we walked in, we made our way around the showroom, taking our time to look at several vehicles and clearly showing interest. Despite there being staff present, not a single member of the team approached us to ask if we needed assistance, offer information, or even acknowledge us with a simple greeting. We were in the showroom long enough that it should have been obvious we were serious buyers rather than just casually passing through.
Customer service is a crucial part of such a significant purchase. When you are considering spending that amount of money, you expect at the very least to feel welcomed and supported. Instead, we felt invisible. It was uncomfortable and frankly quite surprising given the reputation associated with the Škoda brand.
Buying a car is an important decision, and the experience should feel professional and customer-focused. Unfortunately, our visit was the complete opposite. Safe to say, we will be keeping our £30,000 and taking our business elsewhere, where our interest and custom are valued.
I sincerely hope management reviews the level of attentiveness on the showroom floor, as no potential customer should feel overlooked in this way.
