Second time using Skylar Solar and once again, a fantastic experience. We’ve just had three additional batteries and a Gateway installed, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish.

A big thank you to James electrician, again for such another neat installation. It was also a pleasure to meet Robert and his apprentice Eric, who were both professional and friendly throughout.

Highly recommend Skylar Solar to anyone considering solar upgrades!

Had a good discussion with their sales guy Andy about helping me in a difficult situation with my installer going bust. He and the owner then decided to ghost me for no reason. Odd behaviour at best and a waste of all of our time but a reason to think twice about them also.

We had our 19 510W panels, Sigenergy 18KWH battery and EV charger installed 4 months ago by Skylar. Even though we are 300 miles north the install and engineer folllow up were performed flawlessly.
We are very impressed with the system, especially since moving to a time-of-use plan and SEG payments :-) with the Sigen AI controlling this.

I can't recommend Skylar Solar highly enough. From start to finish, the entire process of getting my new solar system was a pleasure. We had an 11KWp system with panels on our South, East, and West facing roofs, and the installation was completed in just two days.

What sets Skylar Solar apart is their customer service. The market for solar is incredibly confusing, but their team was a pleasure to work with. Their phone and WhatsApp assistance was super quick to respond to and provided clear, helpful guidance at every turn.

Their quotations were simple to understand and priced perfectly. We'd received so many other quotes that were either far too expensive or so cheap that you questioned the quality of the work. Skylar's installation cannot be faulted, especially considering our large property with multiple roof sections. I was particularly impressed with their use of drone footage for sizing up the property; it was a far better and less intrusive method than others who required loft access.

After a month, the Sigenergy system has also been brilliant. I would highly recommend both Skylar Solar for their professional service and seamless installation, and the Sigenergy system for its outstanding performance.

I bought the solar panel and batteries from this company the sigenergy brand after searching online and get quotes exceedingly high, Skylar solar give me a excellent quote and when ahead with them, I saw the had been awarded platinum installer in the uk by sigenergy so it was the best choice for me. And best decision I have a take as the were very professional and paid attention to details James and Rob were very helpful. Now 3 months in to the system I can say is worth it and I have add more battery and a car charger all working together beautifully. 100% recommend!

Excellent service from the moment I phoned them to make by initial enquiry to the system being switched on. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly, competent and professional.
Their quote was very competitive, but a key point that made theirs stand out was the full payment being made after the system was initialed and running, showed me their commitment in the product they were providing.

Having been called after using an online service looking for quotes Skylar happened to be in the right place at the right time as I was about to sign off on a slightly cheaper system using unknown branded equipment. While Skylars quote was slightly more the equipment specified was far in excess of the other companies specification I decided with Skylar.

From that point on everything was as smooth as butter, from scaffold install through to system install and functionality I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Professional and courteous tradesmen, informative and helpful office staff. You can't ask for more than that.

Yes, they are a little more expensive than a cheap system but you gets what you pay for and of course the zero deposit (others ask for money upfront) and no payment until it is functioning properly is a big point score.

If you want free electricity from the big ball of gas in the sky, give them a call.

I can certainly recommend Skylar Solar. Presales, survey, installation and after sales all went very well. Any questions and issues were well handled. Payment is on completion of installation. The panels and Sigenergy battery were installed about a month ago and are performing great. The app is very informative and whilst I have not needed much support I feel it is there if needed.

Installation was done and dusted in one day, efficient and knowledgeable team di as they were asked, likewise back at the office, all my questions were dealt with quickly and with a happy team, all in all a very pleasant and efficient installer.

I have researched solar for many years before deciding what I wanted and Skylar Solar we perfect for everything and I mean everything; they gave me time when I need time to decide what to do with no pressure at all. When it came to going the way I wanted they again were perfect in the way it was organised to the full installation. They system for me was a 8Kw battery and full system for the home and once you have it you will not be unhappy at all as the perfect thing for this system is that the flexibility for it to go off grid with effects to the home supply or charge which is the perfect way to be.

I looked in detail at 7 companies and Skylar came out top got for quality and price. Ist class communication and both scaffolders and installers were excellent. No money was paid till job was done and I was satisfied. All approvals and paperwork were handled very fast!!

I did a lot of research on the Sigenergy system I wanted beforehand and had several quotes before deciding on Skylar.

The pre install process was very good - very responsive and good knowledge and advice from Lewis.

Skylar were only company that did a proper site survey (on roof) and adapted the design to maximise panel capacity and came up with the best solution to routing cables around - made the install more difficult, but now looks great and very neat.

Prompt booking for install dates, scaffolders turned up on time and were very professional.

Install experience was great - I had a few concerns beforehand, but was a pleasure to have Luke, Rob and the rest of the team working on the house...attention to detail, problem solving and good communication.

Early days, but the Sigenergy solution looks good and is performing well. The App initially had a few areas it could be improved, but has had regular updates and enhancements from the manufacturer.

MCS certs and documentation promptly sent and HIES cert shortly afterwards thanks to Devon and Payton.

A good experience from start to finish and thought the price I paid was good value for money.

If you're looking for a solar solution I would recommend having a discussion with Skylar.

For the quote to the instillation, I couldn’t fault Skylar. Everyone at the team was polite and professional. Answered all questions I and followed up with good aftercare. Highly recommend these guys and very reasonably priced.

Skylar Solar was not only the cheapest for what I wanted, but also:
1. Listened to and answered all my difficult questions as far as they could
2. Was the only company that could offer me a DC, bi-directional charger as part of the system (though I haven't used the bi-d aspect yet as my car is not compatible)
3. Did an onsite survey - I wouldn't trust any that didn't, as they they wouldn't know if they can deliver, but some don't!
4. Were excellent during installation and cleaned up really well.
Also always a quick response to any queries.

Very friendly and knowledgable team on site and back at office. Explained everything clearly from the first telephone contact, the on site survey and fitting. No deposit and full payment only after completion and testing. They were recommended to me by my son who had his done last year. Highly recommend.
