Good platform for independent designers


I’ve had a good experience with Spoonflower so far. The platform is easy to use, uploading designs is straightforward, and it gives independent designers a great place to showcase their work. I also like the variety of fabric and product options available. The overall experience has been smooth, although some parts of the process could feel a bit clearer for new users. Overall, it is a creative and encouraging platform.

Over priced.

You have reached the tipping point with your pricing. Now I wait for a 25-30% off sale. Paying $159 for a tablecloth is just way too much. They just aren't worth that much money.

My first order was terrific

For the first time, I ordered in Feb 2026 a set of cal king sheets. In the amount of time they said it would take to ship - it did. I ordered:

They were very roomy on my cal king mattress after washing and they are soft and comfortable. I would absolutely order sheets from this company again.

Do not recommend Spoonflower fabric

I ordered fabric three times. One of the fabrics did not match the color represented. They did not refund the cost and reprinted it with the same off-color. I couldn’t use it. The second order was for 4 yards of fabric. The bottom of the fabric does not have the print. Instead, there’s a few inches of white with a barcode. You are basically short a few inches of usable fabric due to this. Won’t order from them again and do not recommend the company.

And while we do our best to match color to screen, there are different variables involved when it comes to color. I wouldn't recommend the pre pasted wallpaper

I got some of the pre pasted wallpaper and while I love the pattern I'm not a fan of the wallpaper itself. You have to overlap the pieces on the edges by at least a 1/2", I think it was a bit more than that to get the pattern to line up. I chose a pretty busy pattern so there was a lot of pushing and pulling to get it right. I still had spots on one panel where some lined up and others were just close, Nothing I could do about it. I had intended to go back and double cut the seams to get rid of the overlap but decided not to because I didn't think I would end up with good results with this paper. I give 5 stars to the artist who gave me the custom color I asked for. I would NOT recommend using this wallpaper and won't order from Spoonflower again due to issue with matching the pattern and the overlap needed on the seams.

I am not technically inclined and needed help. I set the appointment and they kept it. The attendant was kind and helpful. The product that I received , a middle panel for a quilt , is absolutely stunning! Thank you Spoonflower !!

Problem resolved in timely and friendly manner

I had a problem which I had low expectations of being resolved since it was my own fault. Brianna, in Customer Service, listened patiently and assured me she would look into and she did. A couple days later, Brianna emailed me with a solution and thanks to her the issue was solved beyond what I expected. Spoonflower is most assuredly a 5 Star company with 5 Star employees.

Spoonflower shorted my fabric order; their cotton shrinks unevenly

I ordered 20 yards of fabric, but the amount of PRINTED fabric on the roll was only 710.5 inches, not 720 inches. The pattern ended 9.5 inches short of where it should have. Despite my complaining to the company, Spoonflower has not made up this shortfall; their snippy response letters make it seem like the shortfall was MY fault.
I also had trouble ordering. Spoonflower did not give vertical and horizontal repeat information for the fabric I wanted. To order during a President’s Day Sale, I had to estimate, using their online image, where the fabric is rippled, and does not lie flat against the yardstick. When I wrote to Spoonflower Help, asking for the correct repeat dimensions, their answer was incorrect— as I later found out, by a factor of 1.5 to 1 !
I am also having trouble working with this fabric. The website recommends washing and ironing it before cutting and sewing, using Delicates cycles. When I did that, the fabric shrank as predicted, but unevenly. Curtain panels that I made by joining 3 lengths of material, have their pattern going uphill (that is, losing up to 1 inch) instead of going straight across, as it should.

Beautiful designs no customer service

They have beautiful designs, but don’t expect any customer service if there is a problem with your order. No phone number, only email messages and it’s been over 24 h during the week and no response.

Excellent Customer Service

I received a fabric print that missed the mark a bit. The Customer Service representative was quick to respond and do what could be done to make things right. No fuss, no muss, no hassles. Sometimes mistakes happen, what counts is how you handle it- and in this case, it was handled excellently.
