Squire's Garden Centres Reviews 

Just wanted to mention the brilliant way the staff handled our visit to the Wokingham Squires Garden Centre Cafe.
Emma was completely honest, bright and friendly whilst telling us that it was a busy afternoon. She looked around to find us a table but ensured us that she would be able to accommodate. She mentioned that service might be affected whilst the rush was on. As it turned out it wasn't at all, and we had a fabulous few hours catching up in a very nice atmosphere.
I'd also like to mention Michelle who handled our bill. Another very personable and naturally friendly person. Thanks Ladies

I called West Horsley Squires Aquatics Centre to discuss pump parts purchase. I went to the store the level of service was exceptional and knowledge of the team member was outstanding. I was not just offered an expensive pump he discussed in detail my requirements and the pros and cons of each purchase. I left with the correct pump and a very happy customer. I do believe the staff member should be recognised for his service. Operator ID was 4631

What an amazing thoughtful act by the very kind staff of Squires in Hersham where they delivered already constructed items for my partially sighted husband . I couldnt thank them enough for this wonderful service .

We had a fantastic experience thanks to Kelly. Her service is exceptional—she even knows exactly what we order every time! Kelly always goes above and beyond for her guests and makes the whole atmosphere feel incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Kelly, for always looking after us so well!

I always gave the restaurant in Milford 5 stars - now two! Staff are great but management have made this the most UN customer friendly place to eat and the food is not great!

I have been visiting the Squires garden centre in Crawley for years. The staff are always friendly, well informed and professional. There are two members of staff that I wanted to mention because they always go over and above to help and their knowledge of plants is exceptional. Thank you Helen and Shaun for your helpfulness and for always having a smile and time for a chat.

I must mention Helen and Shaun from Squires in Crawley. What fantastic service, so knowledgeable and helpful. It's not often these days that you receive such great customer service. Squires should be proud to have these two. Thanks for all your help.

A huge thank you to Helen, who went above and beyond to help us. She messaged and even gave us a call to let us know that the pink hydrangeas had arrived and made sure they were kept aside for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and made all the difference, especially as we'd been looking for these for a while.

The customer service was genuinely outstanding and the quality of the plants was excellent.

Thank you again, Helen, for making our visit so easy and enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

We visited a garden centre in Surrey, where Ben C assisted my mother. He took the time to help her look around and even carried all her items to the car. We truly can’t speak highly enough of the excellent service we received from Ben. Keep up the good work. ☺️🙏

I recently visit the Long Ditton branch to purchase annual bedding. Staff were very helpful and I left having spent over £120. Some of the plants (pelargoniums and Erigeron) were good quality but sadly it transpired that the Begonias and some packs of Alyssum left much to be desired. All four packs of the former contained poorly rooted plants and failing foliage and some Alyssum were in similar condition. As a long time customer this is very disappointing. Please take this as a warning to inspect thoroughly before purchase.

I recently left a one-star review after a disappointing experience, but I feel it’s only fair to update this now that the situation has been properly resolved.

Lisa, the manager, personally stepped in and took the time to listen and address the issue thoroughly. Her professionalism, understanding, and genuine commitment to putting things right completely turned my experience around. It’s clear she really cares about both the customers and maintaining high standards.

Thanks to her involvement, what started as a negative visit has now restored my confidence in Squires Garden Centre. I’m happy to change my rating to five stars—credit where it’s due!

My husband and I visited a Squires garden centre in Berkshire and tried out a number of patio tables & chairs. We decided on one we liked, and were told it had to be ordered and it would be a a week and a half before it arrived. As we don't live super close by, the staff member and ourselves worked out when it would be delivered so we could plan to pick it up. The staff member 'absolutely guaranteed' it would be available by then.

When my husband went to collect it (this was 4 days after it was 'guaranteed' to be in), it had not been delivered. We'd received no communication, and the staff just said 'sorry, no delivery, we don't know why, and you'll have to wait until Monday to find out more' and that it wasn't a problem as it was still 'within the waiting time'. He left very unhappy with the service.

Come Sunday, he receives a call from the garden centre informing him that there was in fact no stock of the garden furniture so it would never have been delivered. Keep in mind, this was ordered through the Squires staff, and absolutely nobody followed up when it wasn't delivered or informed us. It wasn't discovered until we showed up to collect it!

There were many excuses and half hearted 'sorrys'. We were sold the floor model for a discount, with a refund due. However, the incompetence is truly astounding! And no goodwill gesture or sincere apology or responsibility taken.

I have been charged for the display model, but have not yet received my refund, so remain out of pocket.

I love these garden centres at Twickenham , Shepperton and Cobham. The plants are always healthy. The staff are helpful and friendly. All their goods are of a high standard.
It is always easy to park .

Oh dear. Went to Squires earlier this week and saw a Hozelock multi spray gun set for £19.99 reduced from the RRP -£39.99. Bargain !!! (I thought). Having bought one i went straight to B & Q for something and found exactly the same item with no offer for £18.

I phoned up about 15 kg calor gas bottles to be told by a supervisor that they would cost £49.95 each however when I sent someone down to pick 2 bottles up they were charged £70 each I phoned them up only to be told that’s what she said earlier when I spoke to her on the phone which was rubbish she told me £49.95 otherwise I would have bought them somewhere else

Myfriend and I booked an afternoon tea on 12th feb at the squires garden centre in Stanmore .
Its was absolutely lovely the sandwiches were so fresh and the scones and cakes were perfect.
Lovely friendly staff;would definitely recommend it

My wife and I went there for lunch, (Badshot Lea) we got there at 11.55 and was told we couldn't order untill 12 midday but we could order drinks, so we did. Which we waited 20 minutes for.
We had there classic cheeseburger with chips, the chips were great but as for the burger it self that's a different story, the meat just fell apart and add absolutely no flavor whatsoever.
We will not be going back!!

Having read all reviews I have to say I won’t be having breakfast there tomorrow all reviews can’t be wrong!!

Lovely place ruined by dismissive staff, especially in the cafe where they're slow and actively rude.

Wasn’t busy so seated quickly. Order taken food received ….. all good so far. When it came to paying we were completely ignored, when I finally managed to get their attention it took another 20 minutes for anyone to bother to come and take payment. A young lad was doing his best but the two ladies dressed in black couldn’t have been less interested. Food was ok but we won’t return.
