I had gotten a new pair of glasses in…
I had gotten a new pair of glasses in November. When I went to the eye doctor in March my vision had worsened and I received a new prescription. The manager at Staton in Spartanburg, SC was able to get me new lenses for my frames I purchased in November plus I was able to get a second pair of glasses at a reasonable price. Now I have two pairs of glasses. I was very pleased.

Not so great an experience
Four customers came in after me but were processed and left the store before me. My entire time in the store was nearly 4 hours! Why? I was told it was because they were busy. I've been to this store before and the number of clients during my most recent visit seemed to be average. At one point four workers were gathered around one computer discussing their upcoming work schedules for several minutes. At another point in time, one of the workers was mopping (a spill?) part of the floor. The smell of the cleaning agent was so overpowering that I had to step out of the building for some fresh air. Also, since my last visit to this store, a 4-step process has been added before the actual eye exam. It was only after I had filled out forms and waited quite a long time that I was informed of this EXTRA $39 REQUIRED process. I guess I should have walked out then. Not sure I'll go back to this store in the future.

When I first got there
When I first got there, I was told I could use my 25% off coupon then I got my eye exam. The doctor told me that my eyes were good. They hadn’t changed. I did not have to get glasses if I choose not to so when I went out to get a frame, I was told that I had glaucoma and that I cannot use my 25% off coupon. I don’t understand how the doctor tell me if there’s nothing wrong it was still the same but then I was saying I need to change my glasses. Also I did not get the special I end up having to pay $190 for two pair of glasses that was only supposed to be $79 plus.
