It works but my plan cost has increase by £15 in the first two months
It works, but that's all I can say. I purchased it at £25 per month, and after 2 months I am now paying £40.00. I am hoping this is the last of their increases, a very disappointed new customer
We have been a customer almost 3 years
We have been a customer almost 3 years. We don’t have options for a better service in our area, and Starlink is a great option. We have however had to replace the equipment twice because without warning or any reason the dish just dies. Replacing it is not easy as you have to go through the troubleshooting process (which is painful) and once they decide your dish is bad, and they ship you a new one, they quote you an estimated delivery of 7-16 days!! They take every bit of 7+ days for the hardware to arrive and it ships FedEx which absolutely the worst!
In my experience if your hardware is getting to 12 months old, expect your dish to be at its life span and will crash out so be ready to get a new one with major day delays, so plan accordingly.
Title: Great Internet Service, Disappointing Shipping Experience for African Customers
Great internet service, terrible shipping experience.
My Starlink kit has been sitting in their warehouse for more than two weeks and hasn't even been shipped yet. This is unacceptable, especially for customers in Africa where delivery already takes much longer than in other regions. At this rate, it may take two months or more before I receive my kit.
The silence and lack of urgency make it feel like Starlink simply doesn't care about customers in Africa. The product may be excellent, but the customer experience is not. A company of this size should be able to provide better logistics, better communication, and equal treatment for customers regardless of where they live.
Very disappointed.
I canceled my subscription back in…
I canceled my subscription back in February after 1 month because it didn't work ,it is a nightmare to get them to cancel you're account only to go ahead and double charge my account took forever to get that money back then when they finally assured me that it was canceled 4 and 1/2 months later they started trying to get back into my bank account switched my card I was assured that they could not possibly get money then half a dozen attempts nothing then they finally got through there is no number to call and talk to a person all you get is some stupid AI that tells you they'll call back today or tomorrow sometime they want to know what they can do better stop stealing people's money make it to where when somebody calls with the complaint they actually talk to a human and not a toaster I'm beyond pissed I'm mad at starlink I'm mad at my bank for letting that go through and tell me I've got to wait up to 80 days to get it resolved I didn't even know they had gotten it until I went to send my daughter money to get her car fixed . Not that starlink or my bank seem to give a damn about her being broke down on the side of the road. The only reason I even entertain the thought of trying it was because of Elon musk owning it I see now that that was a colossal mistake

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Starlink customer service.
I returned my Starlink equipment after deciding the service was not a good fit for my needs. Instead of inspecting the equipment, Starlink claimed the dish was damaged due to an “Act of God” and denied my refund. The dish was not damaged when I returned it, and I was never provided with evidence or photographs showing any damage.
To make matters worse, I also paid for an additional month of internet service that I never used after canceling, yet no refund or credit was offered.
I expected a fair inspection process, clear communication, and reasonable customer service. Instead, I was left feeling that my concerns were dismissed without a proper review of the returned equipment.
I hope Starlink will reconsider how it handles situations like mine and provide customers with documentation whenever damage is claimed. Transparency and fairness go a long way in building trust.

I would honestly give negative stars if I could. I ordered Starlink and put in my service address, then added my phone number and email. A few days later I received notice from Fedex that my equipment was delivered...it was delivered to an address I moved from 4 years ago!!! I don't know how they got it, but I didn't give it to them. I spoke with Fedex who said that they will pick it up but that the sender, Starlink, has to call them. Starlink refuses to contact Fedex, Fedex won't do anything without a call from Starlink, and my package is miles away. I don't have contact info of the person who bought my house, so I'm stuck. Luckily, Starlink has no credit card info for me!
Blatant design failure.
The Starlink dish appears poorly designed for real-world outdoor use in hail-prone areas. A product that is permanently mounted outside should be built to withstand foreseeable weather, including reasonable hail impact. When the front of the dish is damaged, Starlink’s solution is not to sell the customer the damaged component separately, but to require replacement of the entire system. That is wasteful, expensive, and unfair to customers.
I retired from an electronics manufacturing company and worked in everything from repair to electronic design. From that background, this looks like a blatant design weakness and a poor customer-support policy. There is no good reason customers should be forced to replace an entire system when only the dish is damaged.
Starlink should either strengthen the front surface of the dish so it can better survive hail, or at minimum allow customers to buy only the replacement dish they actually need. Forcing full-system replacement shifts the cost of a design weakness onto the customer.
Shame on Starlink for handling it this way.
I hope a qualified attorney looks into whether Starlink should be responsible for foreseeable hail damage and whether customers should have the right to purchase only the failed component instead of being pushed into replacing the whole system.
A side note...If Google reviews for Starlink are unavailable or restricted, that is another problem. Customers should have a public place to document product failures, poor support policies, and expensive replacement requirements. Whether the restriction came from Google, Starlink, or some automated policy decision, the end result is the same: customers lose an important way to warn other customers. Shame on any system that makes it harder for people to speak openly about legitimate product problems.
The equipment is complete garbage.
The equipment is complete garbage.. spent hours trying to get it to work in an open area with constant drip outs due to obstructions that were not there!! Customer support is non existent like most of these services.. starlink is nothing but a rip off!!
System is completely unreliable and not…
System is completely unreliable and not stable. All most all of my home smart device would not stay connected to the Internet and I would have to constantly recycle power to Alexa devices every 30 minutes and it would drop my outgoing voice calls on OOMA after a few minutes. But I could still hear the incoming voice. Would not work at all with WeMo smart devices and half my 14 NEST thermostats stayed offline. When I switched back to my slow DSL service after two weeks all my devices were up and working 100% and not losing connections to the internet. I did not matter if I connected over Starlinks WiFi or over direct Ethernet to my network switch. I tested over two weeks and the bad behavior was consistent behavior. Performance on two laptops was more forgiving because how they will reestablish connections on their own but there were still momentary internet stopping of data traffic.

They sold me a 12 month contract for £35pm. Shortly after, they increased the price. Since trying to contact them, I have had no reply. It's grok all the way and that just stone walls. If you have any kind of issue, forget about trying to get it sorted with anyone.
It’s garbage
It’s garbage! I’d rather have dial up than this crap. Won’t stay connected have a decent view of the sky but a single leaf will block all signal. What garbage for 130 a month. Don’t get it go with anything else
Took ages to arrive
Took ages to arrive. About 3 weeks but they wanted more until I complained.
Then they made up a date for starting to bill me.
Still have yet to respond to my asking why?
Their installer is overwhelmed with work, so lots myust be on to it. But that was another 2 week wait with the box of goodies sitting here.
I have not received my Starlink…
I have not received my Starlink package. There is noone to talk to and the delivery service used to dispatch it can also not be contacted. I tried the AI chat service which appeared to be really helpful and advised that the package which was returned would be re-sent but 3 weeks later and still nothing.
Abysmal customer service
Abysmal customer service. All chat bots. Ordered starlink. Kept receivingg delay email about devices. The free month trial period I was owed vanishes. They start billing me and auto activate my dish when I don't even have the devices yet. Contact to tell them I don't have my devices how can you start billing me, I didn't activate it. Proceed to tell me they are just like netflix and will bill regardless of usage and they cannot help.
It has taken me two weeks and repeated…
It has taken me two weeks and repeated demands made through the APP along with threats to throw this equipment in the dumpster to get an RMA #. NOT what I ordered, it doesn't work, my landlord says I can't have it here because they sent a STANDARD, not a Mini. After Social Security, this is the worst, most unprofessional experience I've had with service providers. DON'T DO IT!
Billing issues and appalling customer…
Billing issues and appalling customer care.
I took out a promotional discount in April 2026, Starlink experienced unexpected demand and could, therefore, not fulfil the delivery of the hardware until May. Having spoken with customer service to confirm the promotion (due to end 30/4/26) would still apply and subsequently being assured that, due to their delay it would, I now have been charged the full amount with no recompense from Starlink.
No way of getting through to an actual person, just AI bot responses!
Horrible Starlink Customer Support
I am new to using Starlink and by mistake I clicked on Global Roam. I immediately changed it but aI then got a bill for $244.75. I’ve tried working through Starlink’s Customer Support which is a joke. You can never talk to a real person. They say a rep will call but they never do. I’m retired and on a fixed income so the $244.75 is a big deal. Stay away from Starlink unless you don’t mind getting screwed over.

Just share my experience with Starlink
Just share my experience with Starlink, I only use this when I go to remote area without internet, this won't happen often, so I haven't use it for a while, recently I pull it out and try to use it for my coming trip, only to find that I missed a "mandatory software update deadline" and the equipment I spent $700+ became junk. No refund or replacement. If I want to use this thing, must purchase a new kit. If anybody is considering this thing, be aware!
Starlink support is very bad
Starlink support is very bad. Because when we send a message, they don't read the message even after a day or two. And their upload speed is very weak, it drops frequently and is not continuous.
Does NOT work when it rains
Does NOT work when it rains! Or is cloudy. Storms, out of question. No serice at all. Im in Housto. Area and use version Hotspot a lot bc starlink just doesnt work.
Or you are in rv and want to park in shade.
