Stubbers Adventure Centre Reviews 

Daughter went on a residential trip here unfortunately all the meat served was halal meat and not advised before hand this would be the case. People need to be made more aware of this before booking and paying a lot of money

We met up for a family get together as it was the most convenient place for us all to get to, even by public transport (March 21st 2026) - great space for the kids, and plenty of places to sit down. Of course we went during off season , so not too sure what it would be like in Summer time!!!!

Fabulous open water swimming at Stubbers this morning. Well organised and great to be out and on the lake.

Great time Kayaking at Stubbers. Staff were good, the site was extremely neat and tidy with good facilities

First time visiting this afternoon, I phoned up regarding a couple of questions before I booked, and was helped out by a lovely lady. Upon arrival was helped by the team on Reception, who again were helpful with directions and filling out the forms ect.
My sister and I wanted to try out Archery, neither of us had done it before but Freya was amazing at explaining, patient and encouraging. We both said we'd definitely come back and probably try out some of the other activities too. Time did go really quickly but we enjoyed every minute of it. Thankyou so much for a great day out and please pass on our thanks to the Team 😊

We took our 11 year old daughter to the off roading today and she loved it! It was a very good experience for her and us in the back too!
The instructor (Ben) was great with her. Very patient and informative too, taking time to explain the controls and how to approach hills and descents in the best and safest way! He’s a credit to the company and made a great experience today. Thank you!!

Excellent. Had my kids birthday here. As they are still so young we opted for just the hut, beach and free play. We also booked the pedlos on the day for our group - they kindly reserved all 6 boats so we could ride together. Kids were all free and just £3 per adult. Was fabulous day. All our guest now wants to book it for their kids birthday. Local treat. Thanks stubbers

My Son suffered a head/ear injury during smash camps which required hospital treatment. The head injury occurred at 11am and we were not made aware until 6pm when we collected him, ice would have significantly reduced the swelling that my Son suffered and would have allowed the hospital to treat him properly, but despite the incident form claiming to have used ice, they admitted that actually they didn't. Having raised my concerns to Stubbers, they have responded to say that they acted appropriately and accidents happen.

Also the variety of activities was very poor for my youngest son's age group (5-8years).

Don't pay £12 for the general admission! You are paying for nothing except parking and a very basic (packed with kids) adventure playground - everything else you need to book and pay for separately (well in advance as you can't book anything on the day as it's booked, except the pedal boats at £6 a pop!) A complete waste of time and money, my kids were gutted as they love Stubbers camps, but this was a complete con!

I cant thank the team enough for the wonderful party they hosted for my son and his friends. Highly recommend the commando camp and the instructor was just fantastic with the boys. Really accommodating throughout the booking process and a fun time was had by all.

A great place for children to go in school holidays.
I just wish that if a child doesnt want to do one of the activities, they could do a different one. My son missed out 2 so only did 2, seems a waste of day to me. Other than that - great!!! 😀

Stubbers is a great venue for adventure events. It is spread across a large estate which means that you do not feel as though everything is crammed on top of each other. Staff are enthusiastic and the cafe is great. I thoroughly recommend this place.

This is a very good centre for all kinds of sporting activites, my grandchildren love going there, I think the staff are excellent too.,

Brilliant day at the smash v]camp had by by 11 year boy and his cousin. Highly recommend it! All weather outdoor activities. Far better than a tv screen!

My daughter had a fantastic day at Smash Camps with you. A great range of activities on offer and friendly staff. She will definitely return.
