After my lessons with them ended, they sent me an additional payment request, but I tried to contact them without success.

And the horrors go on. It's one year later: invoice for a package I've cancelled a year ago.

Again: don't get involved with this company. It's a scam.

I was very satisfied with the quick response and possibility to find a good tutor match for my daughter. We were able to switch with ease, find the right person for the subject and way of explaining that made sense for her. Fair price and appreciate the dashboard overview. Definitely recommend!

We’ve had such a positive experience with StudyWorks and honestly, as a working parent, that level of ease and support matters a lot.

The tutors have been kind, intelligent, engaging, and genuinely skilled at connecting with teenagers in a way that keeps them motivated and involved in the lessons. We saw noticeable improvement not only in grades, but also in confidence and retention of the material.

One thing I especially appreciated was how personalized the process felt. When one tutor had to shift plans, StudyWorks moved quickly to help us find another tutor who aligned well with our son’s personality and learning style. They actually asked thoughtful questions about the type of person he is, how he learns best, and what kind of coach would suit him — which made a huge difference.

We had tried other tutoring options before, and this has been by far the best experience. No endless back-and-forth, no needing to trial five different tutors ourselves, no extra stress. StudyWorks handled the matching process behind the scenes and made it incredibly easy to get our son the support he needed.

Highly recommend. Especially for busy parents who want quality support without turning tutor hunting into a second job.

Wrong Invoicing and demanding payments.

I took a package for my daughter and even got assigned a good tutor. Nightmare started when we carried forward some lessons into the new term. We got a new tutor who was also good but they never warned us about the lessons on the package coming to an end. When I realized we had finished the quote, asked for the last booked lesson to be cancelled. Which was cancelled but billed. They in fact billed for more lessons that was still within the package.
I have since been in touch with their administration team who is refusing to listen to my side and insists I pay up the incorrect invoice if not, I will be penalized. I have provided all evidence and he has since stopped responding. This is forcing me to look for legal advise.

Very professional teacher, got our daughter lever improved drastically

I like that the company is coöperative and listens to the need of their employees. The company also notifies if there are any job offers that employees miss out on.

I now work for studyworks for a few years and can say that I love to work for them. Helping children with their schoolwork is very nice and valuable work to do. Next to this the flexibility and abilities to plan your own schedule are very nice, which makes this job compatible with study, free time or other jobs. The team at Studyworks is always very kind and helpfull and is reachable in many ways which makes the communication easy and fast.
So, shortly said, very good

I found it a wonderful opportunity that Studieworks offered me with this job, as it allowed me to support children without first having to complete a formal teacher training program. It gave me the chance to share my knowledge and help students directly

Horrible company. I have never encountered such a non-customer-friendly company. My son was promised a coach, and they found one, so the start was really promising. Unfortunately, the first lesson was no lesson; just a short chat on zoom, and it stayed like that. Meanwhile, of course, the full payment was made already and I needed to block that to make sure I got my money back. Then the coach, a good match with my son, was cancelled, the reason never given, and I've been chased ever since then to pay for a lesson we've never received.

One time I've managed to get someone on the phone: the tone was so unprofessional and accusing towards me, that I decided I don't want to work with this company anymore.

I've been chased by email since, to pay for a lesson I never got - with the extras amount piling up of course for being late etc - . And I've tried to call again, several times: the menu on the call is a loop you cannot break.

So, Ive never done this before but:
DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!

Whatever you do, do not work for this organization, it is no wonder that so many teachers do not show up!
After 2 months of working a few times a week, still no payment - only promises and threats (if I do not show up on time, I have to pay them € 200).
But yes, I have my first pay slip and it is completely awkward (looks like randomly generated by AI). The hours worked from the previous month are gone - they are not even mentioned, with the rest i will not bother you ....
And they still call every day: go work here, go work there. How is this possible in a country like the Netherlands, I do not know.
For me personally the worst employer ever!

The communication has been really poor. It takes a long time for them to find a coach, and they often get my information wrong, making me repeat it over and over again.
If you don't call them every day to remind them to find a coach, they won't do it on their own. It's really frustrating to have to keep following up just to get things moving.

Be very careful,that is scam.they are sending invoices for what i never ordered.SCAM.
Of course you can not find my name as i never ordered anything but your invoices and call to pay 530 eur are in my email box.
Even email reply is disabled so with no option to respond!

Really bad experience with this organization. Received a phone call that they fired the teacher while she was perfect. In the meantime no communication en no replacement. This is the second incident in a short period of time with Studyworks. Be careful with this company!!

We request the extra help for our daughter and the results in the school are immediately evidence. We have a very good experience.

We had very bad experience with StudyWorks (online-bijles). Our couches were changing 4 times. The couches were young kids attending schools themselves, unprofessional, there were cancellations of the lessons and no show ups. At the end we had to pay even for the lessons that were cancelled and we had to pay the highest rate of 36 euro per hour and not what we were paying per lesson in a package that we purchased . During the discussions about the payments they just passed my details to Incasso!! I ended filing the case to my legal insurance. Lots of stress and wasted time. Stay away from their poor services!

She was a very kind and polite coach and we talked about my daughter's condition. She tried to understand in which part my daughter needs more training and help. I hope that with the coach's help we can get a good result.

Very disappointing service. Coaches are all students who can’t commit to a fixed schedule. I spent most of my time trying to organize to fit into their availability. Since the beginning of this school year the company failed to find a coach for my kid at all. The 2 coaches that were fund wasted the time by scheduling a class and then canceling last moment saying they no longer can do the coaching. I have asked the company for the refund of unused hours I have left and was told to send an email to administration. Sent 3 emails without any response. Called and was told that they can’t connect me to administration and they can’t help me because they only look after the coaching part. No help and no money has been refunded.
