I want to make you aware of how handyparken-munchen.de is using manipulative UX design to trick unsuspecting and less careful customers and make them pay.
I parked in Munchen on Friday and Saturday on the same street using this app with no issue. On Sunday I did parked again and out of habit I used the app again even though parking was free. I've got offered a parking ticket for Monday from 09:00 - 23:00 which I booked, being uncareful when reading.
Then even though I was not in Munich anymore as of Sunday afternoon I got an 11 EUR ticket for this service that was pushed into my face and I never used. I am unable to find reasonable people there to convince them this is not fine.
I wanted to make you aware that your partner is using such so called dark patterns and this is really not ok.

The HandyParken München app reflects the situation that also exists at the parking meters. At some of them, it is possible to purchase a parking ticket in advance for the next day. The app draws attention to this through multiple notices and by displaying the tariff information.
