Didn't expect much from a government-run liquor store but honestly it's one of the better retail experiences I've had in Stockholm. The selection is absurd - natural wines, obscure craft beers, spirits from places I've never heard of. Everything is organized clearly, there are tasting notes on the shelf tags that are actually useful, not just "fruity with a hint of oak." Found a Georgian orange wine I'd been looking for for months, just sitting there on a regular shelf. Staff knew their stuff without being condescending about it. Asked for a recommendation under 150 SEK for a dinnergma with fish, got three options with actual reasoning behind each one. Weird to say about a state monopoly but it works. Wouldn't change it.

Every time I go to this particular location the security guards in general follow me around as if I am going to steal something. The heavy set security guard that was there today followed me all the way to the register to make sure I paid for my items. I own a very successful business & an apartment directly right around the corner from this store. It is in incredibly disheartening & embarrassing to be treated this way all the time! Stop assuming someone is a criminal based on their ethnicity! If this ever happens again…I will strongly consider pursuing legal action against your organization!

Poor selection of Mezcal. As a nationwide monopoly, systembolaget should expand their collection of niche drinks because it is literally the only source of alcohol. I have 4 mezcals that I wanted to choose from and not one was available. These were not strange or rare mezcals, and any other liquor store in another country would have at least one available.
Very dissatisfied, especially after hearing all the positive things about Systembolagets collection.

I asked for wine to pair with seafood, and the staff at Systembolaget gave me a fantastic suggestion. Very knowledgeable team.

It works great. I've never had any issues with Systembolaget. Their assortment of basic and specialty alcohol is wide and you will pretty much find anything you want. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, depending on the store, but overall 9/10 interactions are great. If I had to say something negative then I'd say that their website can be a bit buggy at times.

State 🐽Systembolaget's logo/colors symbolize communist/fascist deception methods and idiot declared you/own consumers! And through ugly interventions 🐽the company takes the right with its own terms to stand above you as a consumer !! Plus for your/consumers money!! If you refrain from buying alcohol at the company and buy/search from other countries within the EU, then you will be punished with so-called alcohol tax!!! It means scam !! If the EU/Competition Agency had given higher comprehensive fines for monopolistic achievements, this scam Government 🐽Systembolaget's would have failed!

Ordered some wine for the weekend to be delivered to my local grocery store as I live outside of town. Their website took my money on the spot and then failed to send the goods. If you are operating e-commerce you are not supposed to take the money until you are sure you can dispatch the goods. I cannot wait to see the end of this miserable organisation and see things appear in the supermarket like a modern country.
