Welcome to Tamar Organics! We are a unique organic seed company, based in our Organic Farm on the Cornish side of the Tamar Valley

I have been using Tamar organics for decades and they have never let me down, Thanks
Excellent service from a reputable company. Always high germination from the seeds sown and good resulting plants.
I've placed several orders with Tamar Organics over the years and had no problems. The seeds arrive quickly and are packed well. Prices are good too. Will continue to support them in my small way.
Paid for garlic and onions but received onions in newspaper the telegraph I believe it was,
Now as far as I’m concerned the telegraph do not use organic certified ink
I phoned in to complain and explained I am paying for organic I expect top quality top notch organic not cutting corners,
The manager replied to me and said oh it’s allowed by the organic association guideline bla bla bla…
I didn’t ask if it was allowed. If I managed my own organic company I would not follow the organic guide lines I would be exceeding them and provide much better after all people would be paying more,
Clearly the organic association certification is a scam if they allow NON ORGANIC INK TO TOUCH YOUR FOOD!
They also recently allow pesticides on potatoes. Do your own research,
This has made tamar a little lazy and laid back on the organic rules too I guess.
They used to be brilliant.
For them to tell me they always used news paper for packing parcels that contain onions is red flag for me.
I won’t be ordering plugs or plants from them anymore. I have found a better place.
That is against using newspapers.
The lady from tamar wasn’t going to do anything about it until I mentioned I can’t tolerate soy.
They did the right thing and sent me a replacement so I am glad they did try to resolve issue but the main thing is that we want you to stop using newspaper.
It’s not what I would pay for
I’m unsure if I would continue to buy from there,
I found their website on ethical magazine but I guess all this eco friendly stuff and Greta thing berg and all of that is just a scam really, if you look in to it deeper u will realise like I did. Just grow your own be self sufficient you don’t need any subscriptions to eco magazine or how to live eco friendly books or like GRETA thungherg on fb fan page.
GRETA THUNBERG IS the biggest scammer of them all, her grand parents own a private jet and oil company. She’s also a shill Freemason same as David icky, Kate shemirani and all these eco warrior protestors. Do your self a favour stop being a follower just do your own thing on what you think is right.
Tamar is comparable to
Riverford using plastic to package the fruit!
I have been using Tamar Organics for many years, their seeds are great quality, any issues I've had have resulted in replacements, I've done this once in 20 years! The only problem with Tamar is setting up an account, they require complicated passwords and if you don't get it right in the 1st 3 attempts you're locked out for 20 minutes. It makes ordering extremely difficult, arduous and painful. It's not like my card details are stored on their site, even my bank doesn't put me through so many hoops. So great seeds, difficult to order!
Absolutely fabulous!! Order placed on Sunday, arrived on Tuesday. Great germination from all seeds and compost was lovely quality. Much better than service from other places - we have found our new gardening supplier. Thanks so much !
Fast delivery of organic seeds (ordered late Thursday afternoon, delivered Saturday morning). I was very pleased that everything was send in cardboard and paper, no plastic packaging in sight. I ordered green manure seeds to keep the allotment soil covered through the winter, so it's too early to comment on the quality of the seeds.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tamar. Small, independent, with enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff - like The Organic Gardening Catalogue used to be before they sold out to Suttons. I started ordering from them this season when my first with The OGC\Suttons became a farce. My orders were delivered promptly, there is a huge range of varieties (including some which are rare in the UK), and quality control of "live" stock like seed potatoes is excellent.
