I tried using TeenSafe a couple months back. I got my son a iPhone and I just wanted to keep track of his usage. But his phone locked EVERY TIME i tried to use it! TeenSafe said they were having issues with their iPhone solution. So I stopped. Didn't get my money back either. I looked recently and they still don't have iPhone issues fixed. Just my 2 cents.
I use Teensafe for my daughter who is 14. She is starting to spend more time with new friends from school that I don't really know, so this app helps me monitor where she is and who she is talking to. I have only used it for three weeks and I have had issues with the installation. I hope it gets better because I do like the concept.
