Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 43 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Customers generally find the platform easy to use, appreciating its smooth user experience, user-friendly dashboard, and clear insights. Many highlight the ease of setup, smooth integration with CI/CD pipelines, and the extensive range of browsers and devices available, which simplifies testing and saves time. However, some people were dissatisfied with customer service, reporting varied explanations from agents, slow response times, and generic copy-paste responses that did not address their specific issues. Additionally, some users experienced performance issues such as slow VM loading, input lag, and difficulties with browser window resizing, which made debugging challenging.

Just buy browserstack for real-time testing

The real-time browser testing is quite buggy. VMs loading to desktop and never starting browser, clicking and dragging to resize the browser window or devtools hardly works and is erroneous every single time. The overall experience using LambdaTest's real-time browser testing for desktop devices has not left me wanting more. I bought this as a cheaper alternative to BrowserStack - I should've just stuck with the gold standard and forked over the extra cash.

In my experience

In my experience, a significant amount of workplace politics was driven by VPSharma, who appeared to have considerable influence within the organization. Opportunities and support often seemed to favor those who agreed with his views, while employees with different opinions faced challenges.

Several team members felt that they were treated unfairly, and there were concerns that internal politics were being used to sideline or push out certain employees. Although the co-founders seemed aware of these issues, no meaningful action was taken, possibly because Nitesh was responsible for handling critical work and managing important functions within the company.

At the same time, the Customer Engineering team was already operating with limited manpower, making the situation even more difficult for employees. Concerns raised by team members were often met with generic responses rather than concrete solutions.

A healthy workplace should encourage transparency, fairness, and diverse viewpoints rather than rewarding only those who agree with influential individuals.

Tricked me into upgrading, and I had to fight to get a refund

This company has designed its control panel with numerous upgrade buttons which can be accidentally clicked. In itself, I have no complaint with that, although it is strange to have so many of them. What is wrong, however, is that after accidentally clicking any of the upgrade buttons, rather than seeing another screen that tells you how much this so-called upgrade is going to cost you and asks you if you want to verify it, it just immediately hits your credit card! You're charged without any idea of what you have paid.

I had to write three or four letters to various customer service people and the sales people before they refunded my money for a whole year upgrade that I accidentally clicked on a button that charged me over $300. Totally by accident, because I have the freaky location of these upgrade buttons all over the website, with no subsequent follow-up screens explaining what you're about to pay for. Very sleazy. I will certainly never buy from them again. What a disturbing experience that was.

Terrible experience with support!

Terrible experience with support!
Took them multiple attempts to explain a simple Multi-Device offering. Different explanations from different agents.
And every time you ask a followup question - they just want to just on a call. If i had time for getting on calls, I would set up a call, not message your support!

Chat support should know enough to actually answer queries instead of escalating every small question to a meeting.

Two minutes free trial! What use is that?

I tried to test something. I go through the usual sign-up process. My free trial expires after two minutes! They want me to sign up for a year!! A little later, I get a phone call. They ask me about my trial. I tell them it was ridiculously short. They say I can have a week free. I say that would be good. They say I would need to commit to a 15-20mins phone call with them to get the free trial. It's like timeshare sales in the 1980s. I tell them how ridiculous that all is and before I finish, they have hung up the phone. In case you thought the line might have dropped inadvertently, you'd have to assume they would call me back again if that was the case. They didn't.

They don't let cancel the subscription

Okay, I have purchased a subscription before they rebranded as Testmu AI, 1 month ago, the same day i have cancelled it as it didn't help me to find the bug I purchased the subscription for. I didn't ask for the refund. And I saw that the subscription was cancelled.
Today one month later I got charged, I cannot cancel my subscription myself. And after contacting the support they tell me that they cannot do anything and ask me to send an email.
Horrible, Don't tie your credit card or you would struggle.

Newly launched Real Devices unavailable too often

We use testmu AI strictly for manual real device testing for client projects across different regions. The biggest issue has been reliability. Devices show as available in the dashboard, but when we try to start a session we frequently get a “Device not available” error. Sometimes it works after multiple retries, sometimes not at all. We only do Manual testing for our clients, so availability is critical for us.

I can understand occasional capacity constraints, but the frequency, especially for newly launched iPhones and Ultra devices has increased significantly compared to when we started. Free trial also showed so much more.

For a paid service, device uptime is bare minimum.

been using LambdaTest for several years

I’ve been using LambdaTest for several years to run automated cross‑browser tests, and it has saved my team a lot of time. The platform is easy to set up, integrates smoothly with our CI/CD pipeline, and the range of browsers/devices available is impressive. What stood out most was their customer support—quick responses and clear guidance whenever we hit a snag.

Overall, LambdaTest has made our QA process more efficient and reliable. I’d recommend it to any team looking for scalable cloud testing.

Janky software

Janky software. It showed my site's plug-ins were broken in windows pc, yet on my actual windows pc the plug-in were there and working.

I canceled and asked for refund with no response, of course.

Stay away from. You are better off buying the actual devices you want to test on.
