Don't waste your time.
TextMagic is the absolute worst. They have overly conservative screening practices and try to force you to do a Toll Free number instead of a 10DLC because they don't want to put in the time and effort. When you follow every recommendation they have, they keep adding new requirements. The requirements also change depending on which support rep you and get and who reviews your file. They love to implement delay tactics and waste your time for over a month and a half to get so close to 10DLC and then have them get super knit picky about something random, claiming the carrier is the one who cares. Went with someone else and got approved in 3 days, using all the same stuff that got rejected by TextMagic. Basically wasted 6 weeks on their tomfoolery.

We typically recommend toll-free numbers because the approval process is generally simpler and faster than 10DLC. For 10DLC, our supplier follows strict carrier-aligned requirements, and all forms must be carefully reviewed before submission. Carrier guidelines can also change, which may affect feedback during the process.
We’d also like to clarify that the entire verification and free trial period while waiting for carrier review is completely free — we never charge for this stage.

Simple to use but feature heavy
Simple to use but feature heavy, its been pivotal for my business to be able to reach customers in different ways. Does both text and email now! Wish there were more Zapier API like one to call a template.

The service is amazing, got 50p credit upfront, sounds small but 14 free texts free to try it out is fair, so simple to use, i thought i was gonna have to register with those phone number things and show ID and that crap but nope, signed up in like 10mins or less, i thought it was a catch, hence the good review so soon. Well done finally a good genuine, needed service.

When you first submitted your form in October, there were some issues with your opt-in flow and the use of a free email address. Once those were corrected, we forwarded your form to the messaging aggregator. The review may take up to five business days, and unfortunately, this part is beyond our control.

Definitely Recommend
I have been using TextMagic for several years now and have been very satisfied with the service. The ability to have an interactive text experience with patients has been beneficial in communicating with patients. Many times we are able to get responses to simple questions and confirmations quicker than phone calls themselves. In addition, many of my patients live in the country where cell phone service is not great, but they are able to receive and send text messages. Overall, I would definitely recommend this service to any and all small businesses
