Orders from THE-ARE to Norway / difficult return

ordered a dress from THE-ARE to Norway. delivery time and buying process was very smooth, size also true to size. Unfortunately, I found the color different than that on the picture and wanted to return the dress. Since Norway is outside EU this proved very difficult and the dress was essentially returned to me. Their AI-customer service was very efficient and good, but turned out that in this case when I needed specific help I did not get the assistance I needed in time i,e how to deal with customs etc.

Do NOT buy from here!!!

Do NOT buy from here!!!! I was told my UK return would cost £25, which was already expensive, only to then be charged an astonishing £79 for the return. Extremely disappointing experience. Never had such awful experience with customer service or returns. AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. The pants I received were awful quality, the embellishments came off after first wear, and the denim is cheap. I had to return something and the customer service DID NOT RESPOND. The lack of communication is outrageous and they only helped after getting bank involved.

The dress I received arrived with stains. I contacted customer service, and they responded quickly. However, I was told I need to pay return shipping, even though the website advertises that the first return is free. This feels misleading.

Did not receive my refund yet after returning my parcel in March - still waiting. Also no response from customer service to my e-mails regarding the refund. This is no way to operate an online shop… unfortunately can’t recommend.

Extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service: I want to return a top that is too big from France, and I’m expected to pay €18 for return shipping? I’ve never seen this anywhere else. At this price, I’d rather give bad publicity and resell the item on Vinted. Sorry, but this is a 1-star experience for me. I am extremely disappointed. French customers, don’t get caught out.

Tried to return an item, return label was wrong and Customer Service insisted it was my mistake, when after a lot of back n forth they said it was a mistake from the e-commerce team. Horrible support, do not recommend

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. ORDERED TWO SAME DRESSES OF DIFFERENT SIZES, TRIED TO RETURN THE ONE THAT WAS TOO BIG AND THEIR ANSWER BACK WAS THAT I HAVE USED THE DRESS AND THAT IT WAS NOW FAULTY (IF IT WAS FAULTY THAT MUST HAVE BEEN FAULTY ALREADY WHEN THEY SENT IT TO ME) - UNBELIEVABLE I ACTUALLY HAD NOT EVEN TRIED IT AS THE SMALLER ONE FIT PERFECTLY. THEY REFUSED TO RETURN MY MONEY BACK ONCE I HAVE SENT BACK THE BIGGER DRESS, THEY WERE SO RUDE. AND THEN AFTER REFUSING TO SEND MY MONEY BACK AFTER I HAD RETURNED THE DRESS THEY SAID THAT IF I WANTED THE DRESS BACK I HAD TO PAY FOR DELIVERY FEES. A JOKE - LITTLE RESPECT. AVOID…I AM TELLING ALL MY SPANISH A UK FRIENDS TO AVOID AT ALL COST!

£105 jeans arrived faulty with multiple eyelets already fallen off. Reported immediately, provided evidence, and was initially told I’d be refunded, then they went back on this. After weeks of emails and no response since 29 December, the issue remains unresolved. Very poor quality control and customer service. Would not recommend.

I ordered €170 outfit to Ireland consisting of a top and trousers. Upon arrival it was not the expected quality so I decided to return. The returns portal did not work so I had to contact them to receive returns label. The return costs €23 and about a week later I received an email to say I was only being refunded €69 which was the total only for the top. I tried to contact customer service several times via email and WhatsApp and they have not gotten back to me. I have now had to request a chargeback through my bank. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere - you'll find better quality for cheaper on ASOS.

Cheap feeling dress, too expensive to return

Ordered a dress from here, cost almost £100 with delivery, it came way too long and the fabric felt cheap. Went to return and they deduct over £20 to return the item. Online stores that make it difficult to return items are the worst, will never order from here again.
