I attended how to get research position in USA,i would say quite elaborative,focused on every part from beginning to Visa.
Just feedback for team-how to do in interview part could be more elaborative and CV discussion i found bit lengthy.
Worth the money,hope i find my position soon.

The match guy is one of best, most professional packages you can acquire through this journey into matching into the United States for a doctor. They have advisors, CV editors and interview helpers who know what they are doing. I took the platinum package and it was great to have the constant support. The reason I've given it a 4 stars out of 5 is because they will help you go from 0 to 80% and the rest 20% you have to do on your own. Since it's a premium fee I did expect a little more help with the final 20% but I realise that is a lot to ask for from a service helping so many people. Overall I am very satisfied with experience and have already recommended it to my friends.

I purchased the Platinum match package and I am pleased to say that I successfully matched! Dr Dodurgali was my advisor and mentor, he provided constructive feedback on the match process, helped to structure my application and also helped with interview prep. I had a fantastic experience working with him, he is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the match. He was also available any time I needed additional advice over whatsapp. Additionally I worked with Dr Fisher who provided editing services and interview prep. This is a review of a platinum package purchaser. With the purchase of this package, you get app prep, PS review, guidance on selecting programs, and 4-hour interview prep. I will discuss what they're great at and what they're not so great at:

The good: I really appreciated Dr. F help with the application and personal statements. He helped polish those two elements a great deal.

The bad: Interview prep with the match guy is not optimal. After paying $3500, I thought I would get some concierge service, but I had to schedule my own sessions through email. I would often receive a reply three days later. I did two sessions, one of which was with Dr. Makhoul, who had his camera turned off. Dr. Makhoul is good, but his heart was not in it. I tried to schedule another, and after two weeks of back-and-forth trying to get another interviewer, I said enough is enough and left. I did not even do the last two hours.

Luckily, I found two interview prep residents on Facebook (of all places) and did 12 interview sessions with written feedback and help to formulate answers to interview questions for a quarter of the price. They addressed eye contact and the kind of questions that I needed to ask for residents and attendings (which was wonderful) - I would say you need a minimum of 6 sessions (hours) of mock interviewing to be competent at interviewing (so the platinum packages 4-hour isn't good enough anyway)

In summary, I would recommend them for application preparation. I got 25 interviews so Dr. Fischer got the sauce for that.

For interview prep, you need a reliable, committed coach, and the match guy does not offer that, even with the premium package. Even if they did, you would need someone to review your written answers to the interview FAQ, and again, the match guy does not have that.

I wanted to share how much I appreciated the interview preparation session with Dr. Fisher. His guidance on how to perform well during interviews, build confidence, and stay true to myself was truly invaluable. I am incredibly grateful for all the resources provided throughout this Match application cycle. The support from everyone, as well as from Elie, has been nothing short of exceptional.

I had a great interview session with: Dr. Adel Alhaj Saley, Dr. Elie, Dr Vyas. They all were very professional. They gave me very constructive feedbacks. I will recommend the Match Guy to anyone who is seeking to practice his/her interview skills. Khaled has always been available, quick to respond to all of your questions and concerns.

My session with Dr. Fisher was highly fruitful.

During the mock interview, he kept asking me a lot of questions which made me self-analyze my critical thinking skills and helped me to perfect my interview answers in terms of the duration and content. I also developed self confidence after my mock interview post-analysis session with him as he pointed out the deficits and strengths of my interview; which I was then able to rectify aptly. He also helped me to frame some of my answers suited to my CV and clarified all my doubts regarding the interviews.

Overall he was exemplary when it came to Interview practice and I would definitely recommend him as my top choice advisors when it comes to IV preparation.

I had the pleasure of doing a mock interview with Dr. Adel Alhaj Saleh. Dr. Saleh's approach was both professional and encouraging, providing a comfortable environment to practice and improve my responses. He offered insightful feedback that highlighted my strengths and provided actionable suggestions for areas of improvement. His thoughtful critique gave me a better understanding of how to communicate my experiences and aspirations effectively. I purchased the Platinum Match Package for the 2024 Match, and if I had to summarize my experience in a single word, it would be SCAM.

Their resources are hardly worth using; all they do is proofread your ERAS CV and personal statement, making only basic grammar improvements—something that could easily be done using online tools and YouTube videos.

Match guarantee? Nothing is guaranteed with them. They provide limited interview preparation hours, and if you run out, you’ll need to pay extra.

Their interviewers are limited, and for certain ones listed on the website, you’ll have to pay even more (apparently because they’re busier or more experienced and therefore not available to everyone).

The only reason to consider this service would be if you truly have no time at all (and you don’t care about the money wasted) - though I wouldn’t consider that a good excuse, and I regret my decision.

Only one session of interview preparation would be remotely helpful; nothing else was worth it.

Many competitors are much cheaper and more reliable than the match guy.

Update to the reply:
-First of all, if you can provide evidence that you tried to reach out in July for this year's match, I will consider increasing my rating.
-Secondly, I have no issue with the interview preparation I received, which is why I gave it a single star and mentioned that this was the only valuable part of the package.
-Thirdly, you can't judge when I choose to give my review.
-Overall, it wasn't worth it. I would consider many other options that are much cheaper and more reliable.

Had an excellent interview prep

I was worried about my interview preparation, so I chose to use the 1 hour interview session. It was wonderful! Dr. Heya Batah was very warm and friendly. I was super nervous about the mock interview but she instantly made me comfortable. She gave me valuable advice and feedback, letting me know where I could improve. I had a great experience working with Dr. Majd El-harasis on my interview preparation. He provided excellent advice and points I could improve for my general cardiology fellowship interviews.

I had an excellent interview training with Dr Hadidi. His feedback was clear, constructive, and extremely helpful in identifying areas for improvement.

Didnt waste time and went straight into the interview experience. Was genuinely interested in aiding my preparation. Gave useful feedback that helps prepare me for a variety of interview questions.

The interview itself was conducted with professionalism and respect. The interviewer, [Dr.Danny Hadidi], was punctual and well-prepared. The questions were insightful and relevant, focusing on both my professional experience and what are the things that I can do in order to be on the right track in regards to residency in the US . I had the oppurtunity to discuss the exams that I have taken (USMLE ) ,the ones that are coming up OET , pathways and the ERAS application .
