Membership of staff (Dean) polite and very helpful. They did not rush me and made me feel valued.

Visited my local branch in Omagh today to open a new account. From the get go the staff were bubbly and very informative, they put me at ease when decided on which account suited my needs. It’s always a joy to go into the Omagh Branch as the service provided is always excellent. I want to thank Geraldine especially, she opened my account right away and is a credit to Progressive. I left today feeling confident that my savings are in the best place. Thank you to all the staff in the Omagh Branch.

Incredibly difficult & user unfriendly site...progressive ...backwards more like? Attempted to open account so many times i lost count? Amateur and extremely poorly designed site....do youself a favour and go to Yorkshire or Leeds BS i abandoned the so called progressive and opened up an account in both within 15 minutes of trying. Most proffessional.

One of my colleagues had bought his first home with Progressive and the other had remortgaged to Progressive, and they mentioned the ease of the process, so I decided to bear them in mind, as my renewal was coming up and I was starting to shop about.

I initially requested a decision in principle when I was shopping for a renewal, the lady advising me was called Maire. I was happy with the quotations, rates, repayment terms and Maire's help, so I decided to proceed with Progressive for my remortgage, and I booked an application appointment for the following week.

The middle east conflict had just begun and subsequently, financial uncertainty had reared it's head as it always does. Maire contacted me promptly, and advised me that the fixed rates were ending at the close of business that day, and fitted me in the same day, at very short notice to get my application submitted to secure the rate I had been quoted. I received my mortgage offer around 6 weeks later and by that time, the rate would have been 1.3% higher than I had secured. If it wasn't for Maire's outstanding customer service and going above and beyond, then I'd have been paying a good bit more. Maire kept me up to date throughout the process, advising me of timelines which were very accurate and responded to my enquiries promptly, she also double checked my application before submission to underwriting so they had everything they needed and that there were no delays, she is definitely a credit to the society. Their Human touch certainly makes the difference.

I'm very happy with Progressive and the service I have received from Maire and I am looking forward to my remortgage completing. I would highly recommend Progressive building society.

We recently completed the process of securing a renovation mortgage product with Progressive. Although it’s more involved / less straightforward than a traditional mortgage product, Rebekah at Progressive was really helpful in guiding us through the process every step of the way. She was always super responsive and professional. Would recommend.
