I have mixed reviews on my experience consigning with TRR. Communicating with Andrea Giraldo was fine, but communicating with the Concierge is very painful.
1. Some respond and some while they respond but never again after I follow up. Overall poor communication and taking care of its sellers.
2. I also do not appreciate that TRR starts to discount after less than a week if something does not sell. Given that it is a consignment model, the items are MINE and TRR should not have the authority to discount, nor set the initial price WITHOUT ASKING FOR PRIOR CONFIRMATION. I am quite shocked at this whole process to be honest.
3. The amount I am to be paid shows USD on the website and the same amount but in HKD on the app. I deleted and redownloaded the app but it still shows the amount in HKD. I had inquired the Concierge but got no response to this. Bad UX here.
4. I had consigned 60 items and would suggest that part of the process is for the receiving team to confirm receipt with a photo of item that is sent with the list of items received. It was very hard for me to reconcile what was what on the app with generic descriptions against the list. This would serve to protect both sellers and TRR.
5. While I understand TRR reserves to refuse items for specific reasons, I noticed two particular items were refused because TRR stated they were "unbranded." This was impossible because they were Chanel and Chloe and definitely had the logos on the items. So I reached out to Concierge and while these items have been rectified and are now "accepted" I do however question the quality and consistency in the work of the authenticating team.
6. I keep seeing an exclamation point in yellow next to Payment on the app indicating there is some kind of problem, although I have verified identity many many times. Again I inquired the Concierge but got not response. VERY FRUSTRATING!
Overall I am not at all impressed with the software nor hardware of TRR. If you guys call yourself the experts of luxury circular economy, we are not certainly getting service in the realm of luxury, nor are we getting what we pay for (given the exorbitant fee we are paying TRR through our low commissions rates).

I have been consigning for years and lots of issues with this company. If you watch closely, their practices are not always fair and ethical. I have pieces that had tags (never been worn) that “lose” tags by the time it goes through their evaluation process (all in an effort to get a quicker sellable price I believe). Most recently, I gave over 20 items and one of my more expensive dresses has not been put up on the site in over 1.5 months when everything else on that batch took a few weeks. No one can provide any updates on why the hold up or what is going on. I just keep getting “we are looking into it”. Unacceptable when people are dropping off expensive items to them. I even asked for it back and they didn’t reply.

My wife ordered a dress for a wedding. Got an email that it’d be here on a Friday. Saturday morning no package. Did some digging looking a the tracking number and saw that it had been returned to vendor. Said we refused to take the package when they tried to deliver it. I was home all day, and no one came to deliver. Don’t buy from this company.

Well I got boots that were in unsellable shape so I returned them. I can not even believe these boots were for sale as the boot w/ the crease was ROCK HARD & would have given me blisters immediatly. They would not even been able to be fixed because the hardness of the leather. Don't your items get checked out before they are sold? I want my shipping back because I was sold a defective item. I expected so much more from you & your ads stating how good your items are. These boots sure looked good but they are wrecked. Deny was very kind & did not charge me to have the boots shipped back but they never should have been sold in the 1st place, I would like the shipping charge put back on my card - defective item: R083033820: My return iten # is: RMA151782653. Why don't you have someone try these boots on & let me know what they think? Also, there were no zippers on inner boots as described. Bad advertizing & it's to bad because these were very cool looking boots.
