Terrible aggressive predatory company. Don’t recommend engaging with them at all, they’ll leak all your data and overprice

I had a frustrating experience with The Skinny Confidential. I accidentally placed an order and contacted them within minutes to cancel, but they still processed and shipped it anyway.

Customer service responded that they were unable to cancel once shipped, which felt inflexible given how quickly I reached out.

I understand policies exist, but a short cancellation window (even 10–30 minutes) would go a long way for customers. Disappointing experience overall.

If I could give lower star review, I would. I ordered a product almost a month ago and still have not received it. When tracking it, there has been no update for 2 weeks. I asked for a refund and filed a claim twice. Still waiting for the refund or the product. Horrible customer service.

I placed an order during The Skinny Confidential’s Anniversary + LIVE Sale, which included 50% off (30% sitewide + 20% LIVE), free shipping, and bonus products. I received visual order confirmation on their website with my full personal and payment details. I never received a confirmation email—despite the page having clearly shown I completed the order.

I immediately contacted customer service. Over the course of five days, I received vague, delayed, and dismissive responses daily from their representative. No urgency was shown to resolve the issue before the promotion ended. Days after the sale expired—and only after I threatened a formal complaint—the representative finally responded offered partial discounts (first 20%, then after formal complaint 30%), giving 30% despite the original 50% order being visually confirmed by their site.

The lack of accountability, transparency, and urgency has made it clear that customer trust, security, and fairness are not prioritized by this company. The Skinny Confidential team did not acknowledge or respond to my detailed formal complaint about this issue and how poorly representative handled this situation. Given the seriousness of the concerns I clearly outlined—including issues around their system reliability, customer data security, and the mishandling of a confirmed order—The Skinny Confidential’s silence is extremely disappointing and troubling as a customer. I now have concerns about how they handle personal and payment data. Other customers should be made aware of how The Skinny Confidential operates. I sincerely hope this feedback prompts them to improve their system integrity and value customer care.
