This company ran a giveaway with the ruse of selling the data of those who signed up to many many businesses who then are spamming these people trying to sell stuff. The selling of the data was apparently in the fine print but was by no means explicit.
I tried to bring it up with them today to say how resentful I was to having to unsubscribe to all these emails I didn’t willingly sign up for and got an infuriatingly disregarding “each partner has an opt out/unsubscribe link on their emails ❤”
I don’t like leaving public negative reviews but the callous nature of the reply sent me.
